Jack Fessenden Jack Fessenden 6'2" | SG Troy Buchanan | 2023 State MO 6’3″ MO Thunder: The shooting guard from Troy had a hot shooting weekend where he was getting 20 points a game consistently. Jack is a knock down 3-point shooter, but I was impressed with his overall scoring ability during this weekend. He was driving the ball hard and getting out in transition as well.
Izaak Porter 6’4″ MPJ Elite: A smooth shooting guard from Father Tolton who plays an old-school game that is very under control. He showcased a very impressive shooting stroke from 3-point range and he compliments it with solid ball handling and passing skills. He’s able to use his body to back down defenders to get where he wants to go on the floor.
Camden Bennett Camden Bennett 6'3" | SG St. Joe Lafayette | 2023 State MO 6’3″ 816 Hoops-Shamet: The physical wing player from St Joe Lafayette did what he did best, which was bully ball his way to the basket to score. He also complimented his power drives with solid 3-point shooting off the catch. He had some big outings while matched up against some highly regarded guards during the weekend.
Javaris Moye Javaris Moye 6'4" | SG Kirkwood | 2023 State MO 6’4″ Gateway-Knights: The long and lanky wing from Kirkwood was one of the smoothest offensive players in the event. He slashes by people with ease without looking like he’s moving that fast because of his long stride and ability to change speeds on the dribble. He can finish at a variety of angles around the rim, plus he can stick the mid-range jumper and extend it out to the 3-point line.
Isaac Byrd 6’5″ 816 Hoops-Shamet: A long slender wing player from Gallatin who joined the team for the July live period. He is one of the state’s top hidden gems with his size and overall skill level. He can play all three perimeter positions well as he can shoot it, pass it and facilitate offense with his very high basketball IQ.
Grant Schroeder Grant Schroeder 6'2" | SF Borgia | 2023 State MO 6’3″ Missouri Basketball Club: An active wing player from St. Francis Borgia who was a picture of constant motion and productivity throughout the weekend. He was constantly attacking the basket off the dribble and moving without the ball and getting buckets on back cuts and curl screens. I like his spin move in the lane, which was very effective.
