Prep Hoops Missouri takes a look at the top in-state Class of 2023 point/combo guards from the recent Prep Hoops 2k21 in Indianapolis, IN.

James Lee 5’10" MPJ Elite: A talented scoring point guard from Father Tolton who could create plenty of offense in a short amount of time. He has solid quickness to get by defenders, but he also has a high basketball IQ and he knows how to play the angles to get to his spots on the floor. He got buckets from all three levels and did it while staying under control and not forcing too many bad shots.

Tay Patrick Tay Patrick 5'8" | PG Battle | 2023 State MO 5’9" Self Built Hybrid: A thick-bodied point guard who displayed creative bucket-getting skills throughout the weekend. In the game I watched, he scored a game-high 31 points while hitting seven 3-pointers. Much of his action came off the dribble as he used his physical strength and executed some nice escape dribbles to create space. He also used his quick hands on the defensive end to pick pockets in the open court.
