(Players listed alphabetically)
Aidan O’Brien Aidan O’Brien 6'2" | CG Beulah | 2024 State ND (2024) |5-11 G| Beulah
He has a smooth jump shot with good ball skills. Aidan is a very good slasher and cutter who has improved his shooting this summer. He is an athletic kid with a ton of upside that can play the one through three positions, he also has the potential to be a very good defender for Beulah.
Anthony Wanner Anthony Wanner 6'10" | C Fargo Shanley | 2022 State ND (2022) |6-10 C| Fargo Shanley
He should see increased minutes on varsity this season. Shanley will have a very nice frontcourt when you add in Wanner’s height. Anthony has extra-long arms that will help him to alter shots and protect the rim. He will also help Shanley in the rebounding category. I like the way he hustles up and down the court. The big man will help Shanley contend for a State Tournament birth.
Carter Maasjo Carter Maasjo 6'4" | PF Central Cass | 2024 ND (2024) |6-2 PF| Central Cass
This up-and-coming forward has the potential to break into the varsity rotation for the Squirrels. Carter is a skilled athlete that thrives on physical play. He will provide depth in the frontcourt. Massjo has a knack for rebounding, which CC will need in tough Region-1 play. He is a hustler that thrives at winning 50/50 balls.
Eli Buhr Eli Buhr 6'2" | SG Central Cass | 2024 State ND (2024) |6-1 SG| Central Cass/Master Basketball Academy
He will be another shooter for the Squirrels that will help spread the floor. Eli is a natural shooter with extended range. He worked hard over the summer months to improve his overall game. Buhr had a promising summer with CC and he showed off his defensive rebounding abilities. Eli will provide scoring and depth in Casselton.
Daniel Yorke Daniel Yorke 6'1" | SG Fargo Davies | 2024 State ND (2024) |6-0 G| Fargo Davies/ECI
This great athlete will add depth to a deep stable of guards for Davies. Yorke is unselfish and dynamic on the offensive side of the ball. He is a fun player to watch in transition. Daniel can finish with a splash or drop a dime. He has the potential to be a tough defender.
Evan Van Dam Evan Van Dam 6'6" | PF Fargo Davies | 2022 State ND (2022) |6-6 F| Fargo Davies
He will break into the varsity rotation this year for the Eagles. Evan is one of the most improved players in the Davies program. He has basketball in his blood (his older brother was a stud). Evan works very hard and he runs the floor hard. On offense, Van Dam is a quality shooter from mid-range. Davies is also happy with his 6’6″ height and the advantages that it brings.
James Hagen James Hagen 5'9" | SG West Fargo Sheyenne | 2022 State ND (2022) |5-9 G| West Fargo Sheyenne
He is a skilled ballhandler, shooter, and passer. James will make the Mustangs go as he will be the primary ballhandler and in charge of the offensive tempo. Look for Hagen to also be a top defender for the Mustangs as he has great quickness and will bring toughness to the Mustangs. There will be many new faces for Sheyenne and Hagen will be in charge of them all as the PG.
Jace Jochim Jace Jochim 6'2" | SG Linton/HMB | 2024 State ND (2024) |5-11 SG| Linton-HMB/ECI
Look for this Lion to be the leading scorer for Linton this season. Jace had a big summer with ECI that showcased his scoring and shooting ability. He is a hard-working kid that loves basketball. Expect Jochim to be one of the top 3-point shooters in Region-3 and Class B.
Jon Reitschel Jon Reitschel 5'9" | SG Northern Cass | 2022 ND (2022) |5-9 G| Northern Cass
He has the potential to fill up the scoring column. Jon will be looking to have a big senior year for the Jaguars. Reitschel is a knock-down shooter from the outside. Be ready for some big scoring nights from Reitschel.
Logan Arason Logan Arason 6'4" | PF Grand Forks Red River | 2023 State ND (2023) |6-4 F| Grand Forks Red River
A strong and tough kid that will help Red River compete for a top spot in the EDC. Logan can produce from the block or from the perimeter. Arason plays solid help defense and he is an all-around team player. His versatility will make him a tough matchup for opposing teams.
Nick Carlson Nick Carlson 6'4" | SF West Fargo | 2022 State ND (2022) |6-4 F| West Fargo/ECI
He stood out this summer with ECI. Carlson’s stock has been rising fast! I expect him to be a double-double guy for the Packers this season. West Fargo will be looking to defend their State Championship, and Nick will be a key component. He can score from all over, D-up, block shots, and rebound with the best of them. Carlson has the potential to be an All-State-type player.
Pearce Parks Pearce Parks 6'2" | SG Grand Forks Red River | 2025 State ND (2025) |6’0 SG| Grand Forks Red River/ECI
He is a top-notch athlete already at a young age. I watched him play a bit this summer and he looks ready to compete at the varsity level. I expect him to tear it up on the JV team early in the season. As the season goes on, I would not be surprised if there are two Parks playing varsity minutes at the same time.
Preston Lemar Preston Lemar 6'3" | SG Bismarck | 2024 State ND (2024) |6-2 SG| Bismarck/ND Attack
A young Demon that is full of potential. Lemar is a nice athlete with good size. Preston has the ability to knock down 3-pointers consistently. If he can hit shots early in the season, it will help take some of the pressure and double-teams off Eaglestaff.
Sheldon Jones Sheldon Jones 6'0" | PF Four Winds/Minnewaukan | 2022 State ND (2022) |6-1 F| Fours Winds-Minnewaukan
He will come into the season as the center for 4 Winds. He spent last year battling against Bronson Walter Bronson Walter 6'10" | C Four Winds/Minnewaukan | 2021 State ND , so Sheldon will be ready for everything! Jones is not afraid of contact and he does the little things that do not show up on the stat sheet. He will bring toughness and grit to this great team. Sheldon is also an unselfish and skilled passer.
TJ Syvertson TJ Syvertson 6'1" | SG Garrison | 2023 State ND (2023) |6-2 SG| Garrison
Look for him to be a major contributor for the Troopers this season. TJ plays full tilt all game with a ton of energy and his motor never stops. He has a great mid-range jumper with the ability to be a game-changer. Syvertson is a versatile defender who can guard positions 1-5.
