You might recall that East Tennessee State University gained two verbal commits ( Kristian Shaw Kristian Shaw 6'6" | SG Beech | 2022 State TN , Braden Ilic Braden Ilic 6'10" | PF Morristown East | 2022 State TN ), Braeden Moore Braeden Moore 6'8" | PF Christ Presbyterian Academy | 2022 CA-S and Felix Okpara Felix Okpara 6'11" | C Hamilton Heights | 2022 #51 Nation MO both selected their schools. Well, many of the top players are either adding offers or nearing a pick. Take a look at the newest offers and also several elite camp mentions for younger talents.
Nolan Brang Nolan Brang 5'10" | PG South-Doyle | 2023 State TN (South Doyle) will camp with Bryan College in September. He just returned from his Tusculum Elite Camp. Marcus Brang, his older brother, committed Carson-Newman football and began his college career in 2020.
The highest ranked point guard in Tennessee, Chandler Jackson Chandler Jackson 6'5" | CG Christian Brothers | 2022 State #87 Nation TN will officially visit Virginia Tech at the end of September. Kansas offered Chandler Monday afternoon, making him their 7th PG offer in the ’22 class. Colorado offered him earlier in the day.
“I took 2 (officials) this summer,” shared Chandler August 9th, “I have one set up 23-25 of September with Virginia Tech.” Only Brandon Miller Brandon Miller 6'8" | SF Cane Ridge | 2022 State #18 Nation TN is ranked higher overall. Chandler will be a fantastic lead guard at the HM level and recruiters know it.
Elijah Bredwood Elijah Bredwood 6'1" | SG Bearden | 2022 State TN (Bearden) visited Catawba College the first full August weekend. He is the 12th best recruit uncommitted in Tennessee.

You might remember Fulton High School legend Edward “Dudda” Lacy. Today he leaves for Southwest Mississippi Community College (JuCo).
State Champion Jakobi Gillespie Jakobi Gillespie 6'0" | PG Greeneville | 2022 State TN (Greeneville) finished his July with a verbal commitment to Belmont.
Isaiah Davis Isaiah Davis 6'7" | PF Nashville Christian | 2022 State TN (PSB-Nashville 17u) added an offer from Trevecca Nazarene. Though he played for Station Camp the last few years, Davis transferred this summer to Nashville Christian.
Welch College offered Reese Pride (William Blount). “I got more interest from Union University, Berry College, Brescia University, Kentucky Christian, and hopefully more to come after Newberry, Tusculum, Bob Jones, and Mars Hill elite camps. Also, [I] have visits lined up for Johnson University and Bryan College.”
