Dante Collier Dante Collier 6'4" | SF Licking Heights | 2022 State OH (2022)– Collier impressed me with Nova Village during the Grassroots Showcase in July Live Period. The 6-foot-4 Licking Heights wing is truly one of the best catch-and-shoot players you’ll find in the state. Mechanics are crisp, fluid motions, and solid footwork getting set. His size is a plus but his quickness in terms of attacking the rim isn’t as great, thus making him dependent on his shooting touch. D3s should know his name and consider checking out.
Sean Keller Sean Keller 5'11" | PG Elder | 2022 State OH (2022)- Keller has been incredible since the high school season. The Elder PG is a leader and floor general, but also really makes his offensive mark with his shooting. The lefty has an unorthodox release but it finds the net consistently. Can hit shots in a variety of ways and regardless of what defense throw at him. Plays with physicality being a GCL kid but really brings that toughness and grit to the table every time he steps on the floor. D2 and NAIA programs I highly recommend checking Keller out.
Will Maxwell Will Maxwell 6'5" | SF Oakwood | 2023 State OH (2023)- The lone 2023 on this list, Maxwell is a deadeye shooter and really puts defenses in a bind with his range plus size on the perimeter. The Oakwood and All-Ohio Red contributor has great form and does a good job of finishing shots through contact. Standing at 6-foot-4, Maxwell can get shots up over smaller defenders and has the awareness to find his spots on the floor for spacing purposes. Maxwell has attracted offers from MAC schools including Ohio and Akron and should only add more as he continues competing with Oakwood this Winter.
Ryan Paris Ryan Paris 6'4" | SG Hilliard Davidson | 2022 State OH (2022)- Paris was impressive when watching him compete with Hilliard Davidson in June, but I only saw positive remarks in regards to his play with Mid Ohio Pumas -Gold this Summer. Paris has good size at 6-foot-4 but in terms of his shooting, he really impressed me with his confidence. Could pull-up from anywhere on the perimeter and had no hesitation getting shots up. Follow through was clean and mechanics were there. Does so much on both ends of the floor and can attract some NAIA and even possible D2 interest with his impressive overall game.
Noah Rich Noah Rich 6'5" | SF Franklin | 2022 State OH (2022)- Rich is another exception on this list as he comes in as a SF vs being a wing or SG during the AAU season. Rich continues the theme of having great shooting touch and may be one of the most consistent shooters on this list once he starts hitting his shots. He has the size to excel next level at 6-foot-5, but needs to show continued growth on the defensive end as well as adding to his frame a bit. Definitely a D3 target in my opinion and bound to have a big year with Franklin this Winter.
