Adam Ayrault Adam Ayrault 6'4" | CG Grosse Pointe North | 2023 State MI (Grosse Pointe North)
Ayrault was a flat out beast and made a big time statement. What couldn’t he do in this game? Ayrault had more than a handful of triples, all of which he rose up and fired off with confidence. He shot equally well off the catch and the bounce. Ayrault was a nasty finisher, adding buckets via statement 2 hand dunks. He even picked up a couple steals just inside halfcourt that led to easy buckets.
Kendall Bentley Kendall Bentley 6'2" | SG River Rouge | 2024 State MI (River Rouge)
Bentley was really active in the mid range on to the side of the rim. He looked great working the backside of the rim off a shot and collecting the board and even put back buckets. Once Bentley worked his way into the game and became comfortable, hit came easy for him. Bentley showed range on his jumper with a triple from the wing.
Cooper Frey (Harper Creek)
I really liked what I saw from the shooting guard in this contest. Frey was very strong putting the ball on the floor and going left. He did it a couple times with strong finishes at the rim. Frey had the look of a creative finisher with a nice little scoop for a bucket. He also stepped back and buried a triple.
Anthony Ribel Anthony Ribel 6'3" | SG Traverse City Central | 2024 State MI (Traverse City Central)
Ribel just seems to know how to find looks at the rim. He never stops moving, which helps him always be around the ball and in position to score. Almost all of Ribel’s points (and there were a lot) were very high percentage looks at the rim. Ribel is solid on the break, filling the lane and finishing at the rim. Ribel even showed his 3 point range by hitting a corner triple.
Dave Shillinger Dave Shillinger 5'9" | PG Ludington | 2024 State MI (Ludington)
Schillinger was very impressive in this contest. He was a 2 way player and showed it early by creating a turnover and picking up an assist on the other end. Schillinger is a shifty and quick point guard that changes speeds smoothly and quickly. He penetrated and finished with ease in this game. Opponents couldn’t stop his downhill style of play.
