The Class of 2023 is loaded with talent from top to bottom but more impressively there is size that can play various positions on the floor. The list is smaller but these are some quality bigs.

6’11 [player_tooltip player_id="969630" first="Bron" last="Roberts"] || Timpanogos High School ||

[player_tooltip player_id="969630" first="Bron" last="Roberts"] is a work in progress as he has displayed his raw talent against some of the best players in the country. Although he is slender he picked up his effort and offensive and defensive intensity. Across the country there aren’t many 6’11 players that can shoot the way Bron does. Looks like a completely different prospect in the grassroots scene. Bron has been working on his back to the basket skills and banging down low with players with more mass. His desire to compete has elevated and it has garnered him some attention from Division 1 schools as he has recently picked up an offer from Stanford University. Look for Bron to continue to impress these Pac-12 schools. Bron also picked up an offer from Southern Utah University earlier this Spring. For Timpanogos he will have to play 3-5 and find various ways to get involved and score. Bron is an ideal trail 3 big that can set some drag screens that will allow him to pick and pop to work his outside game.

6’9 [player_tooltip player_id="934041" first="Lyman" last="Simmons"] || Snow Canyon high School ||

Lyman is seldom talked about but he is a player. He has gotten stronger and he has also developed more confidence as he played up to wrap up the summer. Lyman has a quick high release in the paint and free-throw-line extended that allows him to get a good shot off over extended contest. Rebounding Lyman has been great at tracking down rebounds and he will be one of the premier bigs in all of 4A this next season. Look for Lyman to spread the floor some more with his three-point improvement. Lyman holds an offer from Southern Utah University.

6’10 [player_tooltip player_id="1046138" first="Kean" last="Webb"] || Dixie High School ||

Kean has been a stock riser since the season concluded last year as he continued to grow and work on his game. Kean is following a great number of bigs that have gone through Dixie in the past few years. Kean has a game that translates to the next level as he embraces contact. With soft hands and a soft touch around the rim he will get some solid looks from some LM D1’s

6’9 [player_tooltip player_id="934024" first="Aaron" last="Dunne"] || American Fork High School ||

Aaron is an interesting prospect that was lost a bit in the rotation last year due to a log jam at his position. Aaron will not only get more playing time with a recent opening in the lineup but he earned it with solid play this Spring and Summer. In Section 7 in Arizona Aaron was a force, especially deep in the paint. He has a big body and he is strong around the rim finishing through contact. Look for Aaron to really flourish with more minutes and opportunity.
