The Class of 2022 will likely have some emerging talented players but here is a short list of bigs that will be at the top of the list when it comes to bigs being looked at as college prospects.
6’9 Jack Wistrcill Jack Wistrcill 6'8" | PF Olympus | 2022 State UT || Olympus High School ||
Jack is skilled, he has been making a name for himself as he has been spreading the floor with his outside game. Jack can step out and shoot the three ball at a high percentage. Jack doesn’t need to be out at the three-point line to spread the floor because he has good touch in the mid-range. With his back to the basket he can cause damage and he has good moves when he faces up as well. With more schools looking his way we expect Jack to have a stellar senior year.
6’7 Devin Carlson Devin Carlson 6'8" | SF Bingham | 2022 State UT || Bingham High School ||
Devin is somewhat of a late bloomer when it comes to scoring the ball and probably being aggressive. This Spring and Summer have really transformed his game as he is not passive at all and his aggressive play is paying off as a shot blocker, floor runner and rim attacker. Devin finds pockets in defensive holes but he also roles to open spots and not robotically to the defender waiting in help side defense. Devin is a LM player that should be looked at, especially with him extending his range.
6’8 Jaxon Heiden Jaxon Heiden 6'9" | PF Alta | 2022 State UT || Alta High School ||
Jaxon has some talent to go along with his impressive length, wingspan and height. Jaxon could be a 3/4 at the next level especially with his ability to put the ball on the floor. Jaxon can hit some tough jumpers off the bounce. He is strong on the defensive end on the ball and off the ball in rotation situations. He does well on switches as he can move well laterally.
6’10 Adam Stewart Adam Stewart 6'11" | C RSL Academy | 2022 State UT || RSL Academy ||
Adam is one of those old school big men in his style of play and his body type. Adam is big, strong and he is a load on the blocks. He has an unorthodox looking shot but he could hit one or two in trail situations. With great academic marks he’s worth kicking the tires on.
6’9 Bowen Davies Bowen Davies 6'8" | PF Murray | 2022 State UT || Murray High School ||
Bowen is a sleeper big that could be serviceable in the NWAC as local schools look to find a big that can morph into a 4 or 5. He runs the floor and does a lot of the dirty work that includes rebounding, screening and altering shots.
