Many of the players at these schools come from families full of basketball talent and they are simply stepping into their turn to bring their city greatness. As the 2021-2022 season approaches way too quickly, continue reading for a look at some of the top players from central Idaho big schools.
Dylan Rehder Dylan Rehder 6'0" | SG Moscow | 2023 State ID , Moscow: Rehder has had a great high school career so far and will look to build on his success as he approaches the upcoming season. Dylan has already shown glimpses of his offensive skills and abilities in the past and he will look to become a more consistent scorer at the rim and from outside. Rehder has a great feeling for the game already and his development will be a key for helping Moscow make a run at the state tournament in March.
Jace Mckarcher Jace Mckarcher 5'11" | PG Lewiston | 2022 State ID , Lewiston: Jace does a little bit of everything for a solid Lewiston basketball program and he has the ability to be a truly great point guard by the time his prep career is over and he decides where to play his college ball. Mckarcher has been working hard during the offseason to improve his strength and rebounding ability to be able to have even more of an impact when he is on the floor. Watch for Jace to be a key part of Lewiston’s attempt to have a great season.
Jamari Simpson, Moscow: Jamari is looking to make big gains this summer in order to help Moscow make a big turn around before the season starts. As a guard, Simpson does a great job of finding the open man at the right time and he always makes the right decisions at the right times. On defense, Jamari is working to be able to guard anyone on the floor as he also works to make sure that he will not be used as a mismatch on defense. Watch for Jamari to be a strong leader for Moscow this season.
