Xander Fairbanks Xander Fairbanks 6'3" | PF Christian Academy of Myrtle Beach | 2023 State SC – Waccamaw HS (Pawleys Island) – Confidence Cougars (pictured on front)
Fairbanks really came to play around the paint for his Confidence Cougars squad. Xander was able to finish on some put-backs and just brought all out effort to the floor. Fairbanks is most effective closer to the basket and patrolling the paint. Fairbanks is a live body and just seems to have a good nose for the ball.
Calvin Davinroy Calvin Davinroy 6'3" | SF Oceanside Collegiate | 2023 State SC – Wando HS (Mount Pleasant) – Lowcountry Storm 2023
Davinroy has slowly but surely getting back from his injury this past year. Calvin showed some good flashes from his game from the past this weekend. Davinroy was able to set-up his teammates for some good looks while also looking to attack the basket at times today.
Lukas Schou Lukas Schou 6'7" | PF Oceanside Collegiate | 2023 State SC – Oceanside Collegiate (Mount Pleasant) – Lowcountry Storm 2023
Schou really knows how to carve out space down low in the paint for the Charleston area based team. Lukas has a good set of hands and has the ability to knockdown the elbow jumper when given the opportunity. Schou likes to play on contact and really battles inside for position. Lukas continues to make great strides on his game and will only get better down the road.
Ashton Dupee – Socastee HS – Confidence Cougars
Dupee was a new name for Prep Hoops today and he’s right in the backyard – go figure. Dupee told Prep Hoops that he will attend Socastee HS this coming season after attending Carolina Forest HS last year. Dupee came up big in a win over Team Triumph (TX) with 28 points according to our unofficial scoring. Ashton sure doesn’t lack confidence on the floor and was able to dial in some long distance shooting today.
