Yannick Smith Yannick Smith 6'3" | SG Summerville | 2024 State SC – Summerville HS – Low Country Elite 2024
Smith was at the top of his game all weekend long for the LCE 2024 squad. Smith really likes to sets up shop out on the perimeter and seems most comfortable playing behind the 3-point line. Smith recently returned after being sidelined for several weeks with a should injury. Yannick averaged 15 ppg on the weekend.
RJ Simmons RJ Simmons 6'0" | PG James Island | 2024 State SC – Cathedral Academy (North Charleston) – Low Country Elite 2024
Simmons just plays the game so smooth at times it’s hard to believe he will just be a sophomore this season for the Generals. RJ really does his best attacking the cup and shows to have great body control on the way to the basket. LCE 2024 played up at times this weekend. RJ averaged 19 ppg on the weekend.
Qayden Turner Qayden Turner 6'6" | SF Hilton Head Christian | 2024 State SC – Hilton Head Christian – H2 Elite 15U
Turner had a strong showing and made quite a good first impression after moving down to the Palmetto State. Turner attended Huntington HS (WV) last year. Turner a football Wide Receiver will be welcomed addition to the Eagles basketball team. Qayden already has a good look and frame to him at a young age.
Sully Gay Sully Gay 6'3" | SG Catawba Ridge | 2024 State SC – Beaufort Academy – H2 Elite 15U (pictured on front)
Gay saw plenty of action last season for the Eagles in the SCISA Class 2A ranks. Gay was able to post up down low and play with his back to the basket at times. Sully was able to score the ball when given the opportunity today at ease. Gay averaged 14.5 ppg on the weekend and helped the Low Country based team from the Hilton Head area to a (4-0) weekend.
Amari Washington Amari Washington 6'5" | SF Stratford | 2024 State SC – North Charleston HS – North Charleston HS
Washington will suit up for the North Charleston HS Cougars and new Head Coach Tony Eady. Washington a bouncy and springy forward played last season at Fort Dorchester HS. Amari fills the lane in the transition and shows to have great length on both ends of the floor.
