1. Jack Campion Jack Campion 5'10" | PG Milton | 2022 State WI – Milton
Pretty perplexed that Campion wasn’t able to reel in a Division 1 offer over the summer, despite lighting up some big time competition on the Under Armour Circuit. The Milton star is as quick as it gets on the ball, can finish at the rim at top end speed, and has in-the-gym range as a shooter. Campion definitely draws parallels to Storm Murphy, Ryan Larson, and other undersized crafty point guards with takeover ability offensively. Campion does have a Division 2 offer from Minot State. There’s been a lot of Division 1’s sniffing around here as well, including UW-Milwaukee, Austin Peay, South Alabama, Miami (OH), UC-Davis, and Northern Arizona.
2. Ashton Janowski Ashton Janowski 6'1" | CG Pewaukee | 2022 State WI – Pewaukee
A big part of Pewaukee’s state championship run, Janowski averaged 13 points and three assists per game as a junior. A skilled scorer, Janowski has the best mid-range game in the state, so deadly in that 12-18 foot range with a step-back jumper. Janowski owns a Division 2 offer from Hillsdale. Still think he’s highly undervalued and should be prioritized by a number of programs at that level.
3. Chevalier Emery – Neenah
Division 1 Merrimack came calling with an offer to Emery over the summer. The Neenah guard is also hearing from. An explosive lead guard who can create off the bounce, get downhill, and also act as a sniper from distance, Emery averaged 13 points and three assists per game on a stacked rocket squad that went 23-3 last season. Look for Emery, who’s also a sneaky above-the-rim athlete, to make a run at No. 2 on this list during his senior season as he’s playing his best ball right now. San Jose State is in constant contact. Santa Clara, UW-Milwaukee, and Florida Atlantic have also reached out.
4. Armani Jones Armani Jones 5'8" | PG Brown Deer | 2022 State WI – Brown Deer
Jones averaged just shy of 13 points per game as a junior. The senior guard can absolutely go on the ball and mixes it up with a terrific pull-up game off the bounce. While Jones doesn’t have ideal size, he makes up for it with speed on the ball, creativity and change of direction, and a fearless attacking ability at the rim.
5. Micah Causey Micah Causey 5'9" | PG St. Thomas More | 2022 WI – St. Thomas More
Causey had a shortened junior season and only played a few games. He was able to average around 12 points per contest, while playing next to two other double-figure scorers, including one of the top freshmen in the state.
6. Tyler Borowski Tyler Borowski 6'2" | PG Appleton East | 2022 State WI – Appleton East
Borowski recently landed his first Division 2 offer from Sioux Falls. He has upcoming visits set with Winona State and St. Cloud. Minot State and Bemidji State are also reaching out at this time. A high-IQ playmaking guard who can also shoot the rock, Borowski missed a good chunk of his junior year due to an injury, but came back strong throughout the AAU season.
7. Devon Fielding Devon Fielding 6'1" | PG La Crosse Central | 2022 State WI – La Crosse Central
A prospect that’s been blowing up as of late, Fielding is a new addition into the top 50 player rankings. The La Crosse Central lead guard has always been a steady, high-IQ floor general, but has added some real offensive firepower, including some eye-opening above the rim athleticism. He averaged 17.2 ppg on an 8-2 Red Raider squad that was supposed to be in rebuilding mode after losing three Division 1 players the year prior.
8. Mekhi Shaw Mekhi Shaw 6'0" | PG Eau Claire Memorial | 2022 State WI – Eau Claire Memorial
Shaw didn’t play throughout the spring and summer due to injury. He’s still picked up interest from UW-Milwaukee, St. Thomas, Southwest Minnesota State, and Winona State going into his senior year. A quick, skilled guard who can thrive as a scorer or facilitator, Shaw had a breakout summer a year ago with the Wisconsin Playmakers.
9. Carson Leuzinger Carson Leuzinger 6'0" | PG Hutchinson | 2022 State WI – Monroe
WIAC schools are hungry to land Leuzinger. He listed UW-Platteville, UW-Stevens Point, and UW-Whitewater among the programs currently after him. Loras, Ripon, and Clark are also in constant communication. There are also a few Division 2 programs reaching out at this time. A smooth mid-range scorer, Leuzinger averaged 15.1 points and 5.4 assists per game for a 16-2 Monroe squad last season.
10. Terryon Brumby Terryon Brumby 6'0" | PG Racine Case | 2022 State WI – Racine Case
Brumby led a talented Case squad at 16.5 ppg last season during a shortened campaign. The senior guard has a good blend of size, strength, and athleticism on the ball. He gets downhill and to the bucket at a consistent rate, able to generate high percentage buckets.
Others: 10. Andre Renta Andre Renta 6'0" | PG Hudson | 2022 State WI (Hudson), Carter Olson Carter Olson 5'10" | PG Cuba City | 2022 State WI (Cuba City), Marshaun Harriel Marshaun Harriel 5'11" | PG Janesville Craig | 2022 WI (Janesville Craig)
