1. Connor Essegian Connor Essegian 6'4" | SG Central Noble | 2022 State #170 Nation IN – 6’4″ – Central Noble
Current Offers: Ball State, Belmont, Bowling Green, Butler, Creighton, Eastern Illinois, Elon, Furman, George Mason, Grace, Illinois State, Indianapolis, Indiana-Wesleyan, Indiana Tech, IUPUI, Lipscomb, Loyola (IL), Minnesota, Murray State, Northern Kentucky, Northwood, PFW, Rice, Southern Indiana, Valparaiso, Wake Forest, Wisconsin, Wisconsin-Milwaukee, Wofford
At the beginning of the summer, Essegian held just five D1 offers from Lipscomb, Furman, Northwood, PFW, and Southern Indiana. Due to his amazing summer campaign, he has jumped into being one of the two most highly recruited players in the state. He also made the big jump into the Power 5/6 schools with offers from Butler, Creighton, and Wake Forest. His two most recent offers came from Big Ten schools with Wisconsin and Minnesota jumping on board. He has all of the talent in the world, and he should continue to see interest from more schools during his senior season as we await his commitment.
2. Peter Suder Peter Suder 6'5" | SG Carmel | 2022 State #227 Nation IN – 6’4″ – Carmel
Current Offers: Ball State, Bellarmine, Bryant, New Orleans, Robert Morris, Toledo, Wright State
Suder missed this summer due to an injury that really put a damper on his recruiting. However, we should see more eyes on him as he returns to the floor for Carmel this winter. He has mid-major talent for sure as long as he can return to form following his injury.
3. Julian Norris Julian Norris 6'3" | SG Evansville Bosse | 2022 MO – 6’3″ – Evansville Bosse
Current Offers: Bowling Green, Miami (OH), Middle Tennessee, Morehead State, Murray State, Southern Indiana
Norris picked up a Miami (OH) offer to start off the summer and a Morehead State offer to cap the summer, but it was fairly quiet besides those two offers for him. He is a shifty guard who loves to get downhill and attack the basket, and although he is at his best while attacking, Norris can knock it down from the outside as well.
4. Britain Harris Britain Harris 6'3" | SG Bosco Institute | 2022 State IN – 6’2″ – Don Busco Institute
Current Offers: Cleveland State, St. Francis (PA)
Following his announcement that he was transferring from Marquette Catholic to Don Busco back in June, Harris picked up his two offers nearly immediately. He is a lights-out shooter with unlimited range. He also just missed the rare feat of being a 50-40-90 player, just coming up short with his free throw percentage. We will see how he does with Don Busco during his senior season, but Harris has a lot of skills in his arsenal.
5. Kyle Thomas Kyle Thomas 6'4" | SG Cloverdale | 2022 State IN – 6’1″ – Cloverdale
Current Offers: Cedarville, IU-South Bend
Thomas is a bigger guard who can play both the 2 and the 3 at the next level. He has a never-ending motor and an extremely high basketball IQ. In all of my times seeing Thomas play, I don’t remember him forcing a shot. Even when he struggles from the floor, he finds ways to get involved in the game and help his team win. He has a D2 and an NAIA offer at the moment, and I would expect more schools to get involved during the season as they will be getting a very good player in Thomas.
6. Matt Wagner Matt Wagner 6'2" | SG Evansville Bosse | 2022 State IN – 6’2″ – Evansville Bosse
Wagner is a talented scorer who can also facilitate fairly well. He has had a ton of talent beside him over the past couple of years, but he and Norris will be the two main dogs for Bosse this year. Wagner averaged 13 and 5 last year, and I would expect an even better senior season from the guard who is still awaiting his first offer.
7. Bobby Wonnell Bobby Wonnell 6'2" | SG Taylor | 2022 State IN – 6’2″ – Taylor
Wonnell transferred from Kokomo to Taylor for his senior season and will be the lead man for the Titans squad. He is a very good shooter, and that alone should put give him a chance to succeed at the next level. He hasn’t seen his first offer come yet, but I would expect some NAIA programs to start getting involved soon with the skilled shooter.
8. Jahni Summers Jahni Summers 6'5" | SG Evansville Harrison | 2022 State IN – 6’4″ – Evansville Harrison
Summers is another talented guard from the Evansville area. He is at his best when he is attacking the rim and taking it to the defense, but he does have a tendency to get complacent at times. This is something he will need to change, but he has enough skill to play at the next level. Like Wonnell, look for some Division 2 or NAIA schools to start offering in the coming months.
9. Cameron Haffner Cameron Haffner 6'3" | SG Westfield | 2022 State IN – 6’3″ – Westfield
Current Offers: Indiana Tech
Haffner is another NAIA level guard who has been forced to take a little bit of a back seat during the high school season due to the talent of his teammate, Braden Smith Braden Smith 6'2" | PG Woodlan | 2024 State IN . Haffner can score the ball both inside and out, and I would expect some more NAIA programs to get more involved during his senior season.
10. Jordan Turner Jordan Turner 6'3" | PG Cardinal Ritter | 2022 State IN – 6’3″ – Indianapolis Ritter
Current Offers: Bethune-Cookman, Manchester, Penn State-Greater Allegheny
Turner has really received attention from schools all across the board. He currently holds a D1, a D3, and a USCAA offer. He is a talented scorer who can do a lot on the offensive end of the floor. Look for more schools to get involved with Turner into his senior season.
