Lewless is as pure of a point guard as you can find in the class of 2024. Lead guards have a ton of say in who wins and who doesn’t. Lewless is just the type of guy you need at the position in order to pick up wins. His basketball IQ, shot efficiency, and leadership allow him to take over games.
Donnie Watts III Donnie Watts III 6'0" | CG West Bloomfield | 2024 State MI (CG, Detroit Renaissance)
Prep Hoops Michigan Ranking: #4
Watts is a high shot volume perimeter player. He can flat out score, and he can do it bunches, whether playing on or off the ball. When Watts gets going offensively, it can be an absolute nightmare for the opposition.
Tyler Ode Tyler Ode 6'5" | SF Saginaw Heritage | 2024 State MI (F, Saginaw Heritage)

Ode has all the ingredients of a “take over” type player. He’s a versatile forward that can do work inside as well as pull his defender out. Ode has a bounciness that helps him attack the boards as well as pick up second chance points. By the time it’s all said and done, he will be controlling games.

Smythe is one of the better young shooters in Michigan. He really blasted onto the scene during showcase season last year and has turned heads ever since. Smythe had the potential to take over a lot of games with his jumper over the next few years.
