This is a follow-up piece from last week.
Nate Sasser Nate Sasser 6'6" | SG Suncoast | 2023 State #207 Nation FL – Suncoast
The Nate Sasser Nate Sasser 6'6" | SG Suncoast | 2023 State #207 Nation FL – Stone Bureau Stone Bureau 6'0" | PG Calvary Christian Academy, Ft. Lauderdale | 2024 State FL combination could be one of the best in the region. The 6-foot-6 small forward has high end athleticism and finishes above the rim. Watch out for him in transition. I just think he will be many steps above his competition in Palm Beach County. In fact, he could be the area’s MVP. Sasser already holds offers from Florida Gulf Coast and South Florida.
Jose Amat Jose Amat 5'9" | CG Florida Christian | 2022 State FL – Florida Christian
I think you can pencil in many of Florida Christian’s players with the up-tempo style they play. They are very fun to watch and multiply possessions fast. I will roll with Jose Amat Jose Amat 5'9" | CG Florida Christian | 2022 State FL because he can really shoot the ball and score in a hurry. Last season against Palmer Trinity, Amat hit seven 3-pointers. Moreover, he shot 49 percent from deep so the accuracy to score many points is not a problem.
David Delancy IV David Delancy IV 6'5" | CG Somerset Pines | 2023 FL Iv – Someset Academy – Pines
Delancy should be the main focal point for the Panthers with Jonathan Renois Jonathan Renois 6'0" | CG Somerset | 2021 State FL gone. He has the length and size at 6-foot-5 to score anywhere around the rim. From the outside, Delancy is not afraid to shoot. As a junior, Delancy attempted 214 3-pointers. Moreover, he hit six or more in a game three times. A little more shooting consistency and this kid could score 30 points in a half.
Gunner Walters – Grandview Prep
Walters is one of the better scorers in Palm Beach County. The 6-foot-1 guard nearly averaged 18 points per game and scored a season-high 32 against Jupiter Christian. The fact that he is so consistent gives him a chance for a huge night. He returns to Grandview Prep as the teams primary option.
Brandon Gilgeours – Chaminade-Madonna
Gilgeours is a solid shooter down in Hollywood. The 6-foot point guard shot 45 percent from the floor and made 46 3-pointers. Moreover, Gilgeours reached 50 percent or better from deep in nine games. Another possible factor for a big night is his free-throw shooting. Gilgeours went 43-of-48 (90 percent) last season. He’s just a very good all-around player that you should watch out for regardless. UPDATE: Gilgeours has transferred to Miami Northwestern
