Merritt Alderink Merritt Alderink 6'7" | PF Zeeland West | 2024 State #245 Nation MI (PF, Zeeland West)
Alderink really broke out this grassroots season. He’s a bulldog in the lane with a very quickly developing set of post skills. Alderink could have pretty high level coaches taking notes at the Top 250.
Joey Cabana Joey Cabana 6'2" | CG Chelsea | 2024 State MI (CG, Chelsea)
Cabana is a high level athlete and a well schooled player. The upside for this young man is very big. Coaches and scouts want to see him show off his game in Grand Rapids.
Jeremiah Hale Jeremiah Hale 5'11" | SG Grand Rapids Christian | 2024 State MI (SG, Grand Rapids Christian)
Hale showed a lot this spring and summer on the Prep Hoops Circuit. His offensive aggressiveness and ability to create are something college coaches will want to see at the event.
Darian Johnson Darian Johnson 6'8" | C Ferndale | 2024 State MI (C, River Rouge)
Johnson is one of the top post prospects in the state in the class of 2024. He’s a big factor on the glass and defensively. I’m not willing to cap where this young man could go long term, so high level coaches should tune in.
Gerrard McCoy Gerrard McCoy 6'5" | SF UD Jesuit | 2024 State MI (SF, UD Jesuit)
McCoy, in my opinion, had one of the better grassroots seasons state wide. I’d like to see him continue to flaunt his game at the Top 250. He showed the ability to attack straight line from the wing and he cut hard to the rim.
Bryce O’Mara Bryce O’Mara 6'7" | PF Grand Blanc | 2024 State MI (PF, Grand Blanc)
O’Mara is really a special talent. He has all kinds of upside as a tough post with excellent footwork. O’Mara would be a must see player in Grand Rapids.
Karter Richards Karter Richards 6'2" | PG Grosse Pointe South | 2024 State MI (PG, Grosse Pointe South)
Richards was fun to watch on the Prep Hoops Circuit this season. He’s a true lead guard that likes to involve all of his teammates. College coaches will want to take a peek at the event.
Dontez Scott Dontez Scott 6'0" | PG Summit Academy North | 2024 State MI (PG, Summitt Academy)
Scott is a big time talent on the perimeter. He’s an energy player that can really force the issue with his handles and quickness. Scott should be considered must see.
Brayden White Brayden White 6'3" | SG Woodhaven | 2024 State MI (SG, Woodhaven)
White is a 2 guard that I’m pretty high on as a prospect. He moves well without the ball and doesn’t hesitate when he gets it. Scouts and coaches will like his jumper with 3 point range.
Noah Vanlaningham Noah Vanlaningham 5'10" | SG Mattawan | 2024 State MI (SG, Mattawan)
Vanlaningham is going to be a college basketball player. College coaches, you can file that statement away right now. He’s a grinder when the bright lights are off and it’s shown with his improvement over the last 6-12 months.
