2023’s That We Want To See At The Prep Hoops Top 250 – Part 1
Durral Brooks Durral Brooks 6'2" | PG Grand Rapids Catholic Central | 2024 State MI (PG, Grand Rapids Catholic Central)
Brooks is an athletic, yet physical lead guard that’s strong enough to that type of game. He’s a big time talent at the point and coaches at the highest levels should want to see him in Grand Rapids.
Baylor Cicalo Baylor Cicalo 5'8" | PG Powers Catholic | 2024 State MI (PG, Lake Fenton)
Cicalo has terrific court vision and is an excellent passer. He sees around and through the defense, never leaving an open teammate hanging. Cicalo is also very capable of burying a triple when given space.
Brian Everhart Brian Everhart 6'0" | CG Cardinal Mooney | 2024 State MI (CG, Cardinal Mooney)
Everhart had an excellent grassroots season. He was smart with the ball and solid with his jumper. The Top 250 is a perfect place for Everhart to continue his hot streak.
Noah French Noah French 6'2" | SG Orchard Lake St. Marys | 2024 State MI (SG, Orchard Lake St. Mary’s)
There’s a lot to like about French as a player and prospect. He’s always looking to be coached and provides energy when he hits the floor. French has 3 point range on his jumper as well.
Kaeson Frost Kaeson Frost 6'2" | PG Bay City Western | 2024 State MI (PG, Bay City Western)
Frost could send a huge message at the Top 250. He plays with a chip on his shoulder and has the ability to pop off with some really impressive numbers.
Chas Lewless Chas Lewless 6'3" | PG Detroit King | 2024 KS (PG, Detroit Catholic Central)
Lewless is like the point guard’s point guard. Floor generals of the past love to watch this young man play the game. Lewless always plays with his head up, scanning the floor and making the right decision with the ball.
Keyonta Menifield Keyonta Menifield 5'8" | PG Flint Beecher | 2024 State MI (PG, Flint Beecher)
Menifield is going to blow up one of these days and it could be at the Top 250 on October 3rd. He’s prolific and explosive with the ball in his hands.
Mason Struck Mason Struck 6'6" | PF Chesaning | 2024 State MI (PF, Chesaning)
Struck is a supremely talented forward. He flaunts versatility in his ability to guard in the post and on the perimeter. Struck is a threat to score from anywhere on the floor.
James Weaver James Weaver 5'10" | CG River Rouge | 2024 State MI (PG, River Rouge)
Weaver has that “IT” factor. He carries himself like a champion, and he IS a champion. He can play smart and effective in a fast paced game. Weaver is terrific with the ball in his hands leading in transition.
Jaxson Whitaker Jaxson Whitaker 6'4" | SG Muskegon Reeths-Puffer | 2024 State MI (SG, Muskegon Reeths-Puffer)
Whitaker has raised some eyebrows and we’d like to see him continue his strong play at the Top 250. He’s a tough guard that can find buckets.
