Cam Lowe proved to be a steady scoring presence for PLUTO, showcasing the consistency off the catch. Back in January he broke his left elbow, which halted his development late into the high school season. However, this setback hardly fazed Lowe, as he proved to be one of PLUTO’s most dependable scorers, averaging roughly 20 points per game. At 6’5, Lowe likes to bully other athletes his size when driving to the rim, where he finishes well with either hand. He was really effective off the catch from the corners and wings.
Chris Schlesinger Chris Schlesinger 6'5" | PF Rock Canyon | 2022 State CO – Collective/Rock Canyon
As a bigger guard at 6’5, Schlesinger uses his size and elite footwork to create easy looks for his teammates while being an absolute pest around the rim. Being able to go either right or left, he uses spin moves going downhill with ease. Given his size, he attracts doubles quite often and he is just as poised at finding the teammate for an easy bucket as he is scoring for himself. Throughout his career, he has largely operated with inside the arc to score. Throughout the summer, he has worked to get better outside of his comfort zone and shoot more confidently behind the arc. He proved he can be effective, shooting 40% on roughly 3.5 attempts from beyond the arc. While most of those shots were off the catch, he did attempt to spice things up with off the dribble threes every once and a while. Like so many athletes at his size, getting the jumper up to speed will have an immense impact on his potential as a three level scorer going into college.

Another big wing, Elmoutaouakkil showed improved ballhandling wiggle and shiftiness going either direction. Although he is not an explosive athlete, he takes incredibly long strides allowing him to create space in variety of situations. His combination of length and ability to change speeds allows him to make tough shots around the bucket look easy, since he knows where his spots are. Elmoutaouakkil also improved off the catch from beyond, which will only help him improve as a scorer once the defense has no choice but to pick their poison.
Langston Reynolds Langston Reynolds 6'4" | CG Colorado Prep | 2022 State #172 Nation CO – Utah Prospects/Colorado Prep
The most physically imposing wing in his class, Langston Reynolds Langston Reynolds 6'4" | CG Colorado Prep | 2022 State #172 Nation CO is an absolute force around the rim. He proved yet again that he is effective off the ball, being an elite slasher at his level. His first step is a tough guard, where a simple jab is consistently enough for a blow by. Throughout the summer he worked on his jumpshot, steadily changing it from a two-motion set shot into a quicker single motion. The value with the single motion is it not only creates a quicker, smoother shot, but with consistent improvement he can become a consistent off the dribble shooter. As a division one coaching staff, if you believe the jumper has untapped potential then you have a very consistent scorer on your hands. While Reynolds is not your tradition ’wing’, I believe this label describes him accurately as of now, since he typically scores from cuts and straight line drives. Defensively, he’s a powerful 6’4 athlete with long arms, so he can guard 1-3 quite comfortably.
Kyle Sandler Kyle Sandler 6'7" | SF Hargrave Military Academy | 2022 State CO – Colorado Hawks/Regis Jesuit
One of the better shooters in the state, the 6’5 wing plays bigger than his size. On the defensive end, Sandler is fundamentally sound where he makes a consistent effort to box out opponents and fights for loose balls. He continued to showcase his quick jumper off the catch, where he makes corner threes as easily as layups. Proactive passing in the fast break is another strength of his, where he is adept at threading the needle with bounce passes.
