Mike Sharavjamts Mike Sharavjamts 6'8" | PF ISA | 2022 State #179 Nation OH , 6’8 PF Centerville 2022: A new name in the rankings, Sharavjamts comes from Prolific Prep in California and comes from Mongolia. Sharavjamts is one of the most versatile forwards I’ve had the chance to evaluate, with a perfect fit to the modern game of basketball. I like that he can move his feet on the outside, defend multiple positions and protect the rim. On the offensive end, Sharavjamts can do pretty much everything but shoot the basketball. He cuts with a purpose and is one of the best passers for his size in the state. He throws excellent outlet passes to jumpstart the fast-break. With just one offer from Rutgers, I’m expecting much more high major programs to get involved very soon.
Josiah Harris Josiah Harris 6'7" | PF Richmond Heights | 2022 State #243 Nation OH , 6’7 PF Richmond Heights 2022: Harris had an excellent EYBL campaign where he averaged a double-double in the pool play games. I had been skeptical of Harris as a high major prospect prior to this summer. I thought he wasn’t explosive or skilled enough to be recruited at that level. After his July live period performance, I am happy to say I was proven wrong by Harris. Whatever Harris did to improve from when I watched him in January to July, he looked like a completely different player. West Virginia fans should be excited for what Harris is bringing to the program when he steps on campus next summer.
Ben Southerland Ben Southerland 6'7" | PF Cincinnati Hills Christian Academy | 2022 State #247 Nation OH , 6’7 PF Sycamore 2022: Southerland improved his stock greatly this summer, fitting in perfectly on Midwest Basketball Club 3SSB. Southerland is another modern power forward who moves very easily on the court. His mobility is potentially his biggest asset right now. I’m also impressed with Southerland’s ability to stretch the floor from the PF position. Southerland now has 13 Division I offers and it seems like that list is destined to grow. With his production and upside, it’s easy to see why so many mid major programs want Southerland to commit to their program.
Drey Carter Drey Carter 6'8" | PF Westerville South | 2022 State OH , 6’8 PF Westerville South 2022: Carter had an awesome spring and summer with NOVA and proved that he was a Division I level prospect. Carter shoots the crap out of the basketball at 6’8, that’s a rare skill. Carter has greatly improved his lateral mobility, he seemed stiff when I watched him in the high school season. Stiff is not a word I’d use to describe Carter anymore. A variety of low to mid major programs are looking to add Carter as shooting is at a premium in the 2021 version of college basketball. If there’s one thing Carter will bring to your program, it’s his outside shot.
Rich Rolf Rich Rolf 6'6" | PF Centerville | 2022 State OH , 6’7 PF Centerville 2022: The best rebounder in the state for my money, Rich Rolf Rich Rolf 6'6" | PF Centerville | 2022 State OH fits on almost any team imaginable. This kid is a winner, with one state championship and was a part of one of the best grassroots teams in the country. Rolf showed improved outside shot-making ability this summer. He is still a guy who you aren’t afraid of from the outside, but if you leave him open, he will make you pay. Rolf plays with a bunch of high level scorers in both the high school and grassroots season, he won’t be phased by getting few shots early in his college career. Rolf is a no brainer target for low to mid major programs looking to add a great rebounder who can space the floor.
