This is my third installment on prospects in the 2022 class who, I feel, will have a great ending to their high school basketball careers.

Terrance Jacobs Jr., Bartlett: Jacobs will be the most seasoned point guard in 4A this upcoming season. In a district that features Cordova, Arlington, Collierville, Germantown, and Southwind, the Panthers will have the upper hand in experience at point guard. Jacobs was a key piece to Bartlett’s success last season as he’s a polished floor general, with a niche for controlling the pace of a game. Jacobs is scrappy on the defensive end. On offense, he can score and facilitate. Jacobs brings balance, and that’s what Bartlett will need from him if it wants to make its first state tournament appearance under head coach Dion Real.

Isaiah Regular, Overton: This could be a breakout season for the 6-foot-6 forward. I’m saying that because, he’s under the right coach, Shelvie Rose, who’s going to push every button to get the best out of him. Regular seems to realize that. He seems to be up for the challenge. Regular wants to play for Rose. He has shown his ability to block shots at the rim, knock down
