The summer is almost over as August is almost halfway over. Players across the Garden State had big-time summers, especially the players who played in the 16U division. Here are the top players in 16U who had big summers.

Naasir Cunningham Naasir Cunningham 6'6" | SF Gill St. Bernard's | 2024 State NJ , 6’7 SF Gill St. Bernard’s 2024

Cunningham may only be a rising sophomore, but he competed for the NY Rens 16U team which makes him eligible. The 6’7 wing has a smooth offensive game as he can score at all three levels and shoots the ball with confidence from distance. Cunningham has a nice handle, which he uses to beat his defender off the bounce. His length and athleticism makes him an intriguing prospect on the defensive end with the potential to defend multiple positions. Cunningham was recently selected to the USA U16 National Team, solidifying his strong summer in the 16U circuit.
