Isaac Higgs | 6’2 Forward | VA Warriors Elite (William Fleming)
Higgs was a strong complement to Abu Yarmah and Elijah Kelly in the frontcourt given his ability to rebound and battle in the paint down low. He was a physical presence with his ability to get to the offensive glass, do the dirty work and make plays with his back to the basket. He’s a prospect to keep an eye on in VA’s 2024 class.
DJ Abegesah | 6’0 Wing/Forward | Impact Elite Black (Quince Orchard)
He showed off his consistency in the Impact Elite Black frontcourt with his ability to get to the rim and finish through contact with 23 points in their title game loss. Despite coming up short, he showed he can be effective getting downhill and finishing around the paint.
Anthony Pineda | 5’7 Guard | Impact Elite Black (Avalon School)
Pineda is an impressive lead guard with his ability to defend the ball, knock down shots and finish off the bounce. He posted 12.3 ppg for Impact Elite Black on the weekend including 13 points in the title game despite the result. He continues to make waves in MD’s 2024 class.
Corey Heyward | 6’0 Shooting Guard | Impact Elite Black (Avalon School)
Heyward is an emerging sharpshooter in MD’s 2024 class that’s making his presence felt with Impact Elite Black. He showed off his ability to play off the ball and knock down shots when needed while putting up 11.3 ppg at Big Shots Carolina Rise Summer Showdown.
Julian Evering | 5’9 Guard | Team FLY (Lake Norman Charter)
Evering was another prospect in the Team FLY backcourt that made his presence felt in the backcourt. He finished the weekend averaging 10.3 ppg including 19 points to open things up against Impact Elite Grey in a victory. He’s an emerging guard prospect with the ability to get to his spots and make plays for himself and others.
