Kolton Mitchell, 6-0 2023 G, Lake City (ID), Eastern Washington Elite 16u
The crafty point guard is a solid game manager. He has underrated length and athleticism, but his feel as a passer and playmaker off of ball screens is what makes him impressive.
Blake Buchanan, 6-10 2023 C, Lake City (ID), Eastern Washington Elite 16u
Buchanan is a long, athletic post prospect who has soft touch around the basket and moves well laterally on defense. He uses his length to alter and reject shots around the basket. He runs the floor hard and fills his lanes and can finish above the rim in transition. He has the look of a MM D1 prospect.
Bryson Metz, 5-10 2022 PG, Union (WA), Eastern Washington Elite 17u Red
A compactly built floor general, Metz is a solid playmaker who probes the defense in ball screen action, scans the floor and makes the right pass to cutters or shooters. He changes speeds effectively to get into the paint, and can finish with a runner or again make the right play with the pass. Additionally, he is a knockdown shooter coming off the screen, which defenses have to honor.
Siosefa Brown, 6-5 2024 PF, Highland (UT), UBC Elite Cosby
A tough, physical force in the paint, Brown plays much bigger than his listed height, is a formidable rebounder in traffic and can protect the rim.
Diego Mulford, 5-9 2024 SG, Cyprus (UT), UBC Elite Cosby
Mulford doesn’t have a ton of size or length, but what he does have is a near-automatic shot from the perimeter and one of the quickest releases — even if his shot looks unorthodox (almost shoots it with two hands). He had multiple games with 5+ threes over the weekend, making him one of the elite shooters in the showcase.
Joseph Terry (2026), 6-4 2026 WF, Elite Acadecs Academy/ Team Eleate
The big-bodied wing forward man scored in the paint and on right-handed drives off the wing. It wasn’t until after the game that I found out he was a rising 8th grader. Terry is a prospect to keep your eyes on moving forward.
Giovanni Valentin, 5-11 2024 G, Castaic/ Team Eleate
The lefty has an uncanny ability to finish drives better with his right hand than his left. The crafty lefty combo guard can shoot it from midrange and from three consistently, and his mechanics are smooth.
Logan Schayes, 6-7 2021 PF, Bella Vista Prep/ WCE 18u Valley Goltz
The big bodied forward had a knack for finishing everything around the basket, and possesses excellent post footwork and can finish with either hand. Schayes is a physical rebounder who gets after it on the offensive and defensive glass.
David Vuillemon, 6-1 2022 SG, Murrieta Mesa/ Mesa Rams
I’ve caught Vuillemon on back-to-back weekends, and I remain impressed at his prolific shotmaking ability. He’s a volume scorer, but he moves well without the ball, has an uber-quick release, and can knock down shots from well beyond the NBA three.
Cory Johnson Cory Johnson 6'5" | SF Fairmont Prep | 2021 State CA-S , 6-8 2021 PF, Fairmont Prep/ West Coast Elite 18u Valley Goltz
Johnson is a smooth shooting forward who possesses an elite skill: he is an excellent corner three shooter with good size. His game off the bounce is still a work in progress, but he shows improved ability to attack closeouts and finish through contact.
Derek Edmond, 6-4 2024 G, Granite Hills/ West Coast Elite San Diego 16u National
Edmond is a smooth shooting wing who can knock down shots from the wing and baseline off of drive-and-kicks, and can finish drives in transition through contact. He’s got very good size and length for a player his age. With his team playing a grade up (vs 17u teams) and he being 15u eligible, it was impressive to see him impact the game rebounding in traffic and scoring. He’s one of he top prospects in his grade in San Diego.
