Donavhan Cain – 2023 – G – Howard Pulley
Cain played well with UW-Milwaukee in the gym watching. A plus length guard that can handle the rock and shoot it from deep, Cain has the tools to be an effective isolation scorer. He’s very quick with the basketball and can change directions/speeds in traffic. His speed forces defenders to back up and Cain has no problem stepping into a triple. Athletically, this is a prospect with a lot of leaping ability. He’s very explosive off the ground and can dunk off two feet. On the other end, Cain can fly in and block shots from the weakside.
Jack Campion Jack Campion 5'10" | PG Milton | 2022 State WI – 2022 – PG – Wisconsin Playground Club
Attention mid-major programs…are you awake yet? Campion put up 18 points and four assists against a loaded D.C. Premier squad. The Milton star put PGC on his back for long stretches in the second half in a comeback victory. Schools may be turned off because of Campion’s size (5-10), but there are certain prospects it just doesn’t matter for. Campion is a Storm Murphy type prospect. He’s got a couple things on Murphy as well, including his 3-point shooting, defensive ability, and speed on the ball. Takes much better care of the ball at this stage too. With his team trailing by 16 in the second quarter, Campion just made play after play to help his team get back in the game and eventually grind out a win.
Gradey Dick Gradey Dick 6'7" | SF Sunrise Christian (KS) | 2022 State #21 Nation KS – 2022 – SF – KC Run GMC
One of my favorite players in the country, Dick is so fun to watch. The Kansas commit is just a killer offensively. At 6-foot-7, Dick can size people up and take whatever the defense wants to give him. A consensus top 40 prospect, Dick has a lot of ways he can help a team. He’s long enough to play in the paint and defend on the block, but skilled enough to fill in at the point or the two-guard if needed. Dick can knock down his shots from the outside, but it also way more athletic than he looks. He plays with an edge too. Dick has that alpha mentality on the floor that gives him a chance to be a star at the next level — even at a place like Kansas.
Justyn Fernandez – 2022 – G/W – D.C. Premier
This kid has a really well-rounded game and could be a steal as a three-star prospect. At 6-foot-6, you can play Fernandez anywhere on the perimeter, including the point. He’s a two-way player with excellent positional size. Moves very well for his size up and down the floor and was getting coast-to-coast with ease. Fernandez can finish acrobatically and off-balance as well. In a tight ball game, Fernandez generated a lot of good looks from the floor and didn’t settle. He also made impact plays defensively, coming up with steals and blocks. Arizona State, Clemson, Boston College, Virginia Tech, and VCU are some of the offers here.
Maximus Nelson Maximus Nelson 6'7" | PF Appleton North | 2022 State #236 Nation WI – 2022 – PF – Wisconsin Playground Club
For the second-straight day, Nelson shot the ball really well from the outside. The Appleton North product got hot and dropped a game-high 33 points, including eight triples against KC Run GMC. Nelson was able to keep PGC in the game for long stretches. The 6-foot-8 forward has a sweet stroke from beyond the arc. He’s excellent at floating out to the perimeter, catching, selling a drive, waiting for the defender’s hand to go down, then rising up for his shot. Nelson’s also getting better and shooting off the dribble or catching in the high/mid-post and attacking. He’s got strong positional size and is a good enough athlete to really thrive at the next level. High majors are now beginning to inquire after Friday’s performances.

Robert Peters – 2023 – PF – Wisconsin Playground Club
Peters is starting to come on and show flashes more consistently. The West Allis Hale big man had a really good spurt against Philly Pride, able to attack the basket from the high post, spin, and finish with his left. Peters looks the part. He’s a strong, 6-foot-8 forward that can move. He’s still pretty raw skills-wise, but has a really nice spin move down on the block and his touch around the rim is rapidly improving from since last year.
John Pitta John Pitta 6'0" | CG Whitnall | 2022 State WI – 2022 – G – Wisconsin Playmakers
Pitta has been having a strong travel season and continues to produce against upper-level competition. The Whitnall guard is an aggressive, downhill attacker that puts a ton of pressure on defenses. Pitta likes to push the pace in transition and get it and go immediately off the miss. He’s got an array of finishes around the rim and is willing to attack almost anyone. A sleeper right now in Wisconsin, Pitta just plays with passion and constantly competes.
Jalen Quinn – 2022 – PG – Illinois Wolves
Quinn is a very mentally tough point guard. He was really struggling early in the day with turnovers, defensive mistakes, finishing at the rim, etc. He got pulled early by the Wolves in their opening game on Friday. But what do you do when you get knocked off the horse? Well, Quinn got back on. Quinn came back later that night and scored 20 points for the Wolves in their win over Washington Supreme. A priority guard for a lot of solid mid-major programs, Quinn has offers from the likes of Saint Louis, Wofford, Belmont, Illinois State, Drake, Loyola (IL), and Southern Illinois. A downhill guard who can consistently get to the rim and create plays in the drive-and-dish game, Quinn balances being a scorer and facilitator very well.
Nolan Winter Nolan Winter 7'0" | PF Lakeville North | 2023 State #98 Nation MN – 2023 – F – Howard Pulley
Winter had 10 points in a win over Grassroots Indiana. Was a couple of close misses from 3-point range from having a big game. The 6-foot-8 sophomore is a stretch forward right now, but shows mismatch potential. Winter had a beautiful move where he used a pro hop to cut in between two defenders and score at the rim. A deadly 3-point shooter, Winter pulls bigs away from the rim and makes them very uncomfortable. He’s working on his handle and hopes to develop into a combo forward down the road. Minnesota and Wisconsin are on the board here with early offers.
