In one of the highest-pressure games of the summer, pitting two teams with a history of disdain against one another, Daniels performed well for JEB Elite.
During the Saturday-night game against Chaos, Daniels consistently knocked down shots, converting on multiple triples and creating his own shot out of the handle. When we thought the pace of play would hinder his shine, Daniels’ paced and shifty play provided his team with not only more space, but gave Daniels himself more points on his tally.
Jonah Jenkins Jonah Jenkins 6'0" | PG Cashion | 2022 State OK | Oklahoma Eagles Elite
Throughout the weekend, Jenkins consistently created his own scoring opportunities out of the dribble.
Jenkins got a little angry midway through the first half against Missouri Flight — and to great benefit for his team. His aggressive streak led him to attack the basket repeatedly on a series quick strikes, when the senior guard showed off a bit of his arsenal: the mid-range pull-up, a bucket from close range, a steal at half-court and a transition bucket. His sequence of attack-minded play led Oklahoma Eagles to a lead which gave them the momentum they needed.
Austin Osby Austin Osby 5'10" | PG Edmond Memorial | 2022 OK | Oklahoma Eagles Elite |
Osby, who is really shaping out to be a two-way leader for this Eagles team, scored the basketball well Saturday night, included his sharp floater, the long-range shot out of the catch, and finishing on sharp angles from close-range.
Throughout the weekend, Osby took charge with the ball in his hands and used his quickness, sharp mobility and craftiness to score around the rim even against significantly taller defenders.
Keilan Howard | Team Buddy Buckets OKC |
Howard’s smooth, efficient style of play came to his team’s benefit across multiple games last weekend as he shot the ball well from range, converted on some crafty shots, and played well in a facilitatory role.
Howard’s game is set on his pace; everything he does with the ball in his hands is controlled and thorough. He is one of the most fundamentally advanced players in his class and was one of the most effective players on his team last weekend.
Noah Mcmullan Noah Mcmullan 5'9" | PG North Rock Creek | 2022 OK | Next Level |
McMullan, a heady point guard and talented sharpshooter, had an excellent weekend with Next Level that included a 25-point game. He can create his own shot with the rock, strikes from deep quickly, and is a sneakily capable defender.
McMullan averaged 22 points-a-game to lead Next Level in scoring for the weekend.
