Every player from this past weekend at The Platform AAU event didn't fill up the stat sheet.

Does that mean they weren't effective? Absolutely not.

There were prospects that played solid defense, got steals, orchestrated an offense, scored an important basket or simply played so hard to the point their coaches couldn't take them out.

Those are called unsung heroes, and they were present in Birmingham, Alabama.

Jake Feliciano, East Coast United 2023: The 5-foot-10 guard made a cornered 3 that gave his team a one-point lead over Born Ready 2023 on the final day of the event. The made 3-pointer was ultimately the dagger. The rising junior kept shooting, which helped East Coast United 2023 in the end. Feliciano finished with only seven points.

Isaac Hanell, Woodz Elite 16U: The 6-5 wing was the only bright spot early in the first half of his team's 60-56 win over the Wisconsin Crusaders 2023 Premier.
