Jamiir Allen Jamiir Allen 6'0" | CG Wisconsin Lutheran | 2023 State WI – 2023 – G – ABC Young Lions
Not sure people know how good Allen is yet. Playing on a stacked Wisconsin Lutheran team in high school, Allen flies under the radar. During the travel season, he’s been an absolute killer over the last two years. Allen has a well-rounded scoring package. Love the way he can break down defenders and create off the dribble. Allen’s got the pull-up in the mid-range if he wants it, but the lefty is also a tough, athletic finisher at the rim. You can play him on and off the ball. Allen is just a relentless playmaker that’s going to make things happen with the ball in his hands.
Luke Bara Luke Bara 6'1" | CG Muskego | 2021 State WI – 2022 – G – ABC Young Lions
Easy to see how badly Bara wants those Division 1 offers. This kid is just playing with a ton of passion and intensity right now and leaving it all on the floor. The former Muskego star, who reclassified to 2022, certainly has some skills for that level. He’s a very quick and skilled with blow-by ability and in-the-gym range. Bara has an excellent pull-up game and couples it with a deadly hesitation move that keeps defenders guessing. At 6-foot-1, Bara isn’t a pure point guard, but certainly can survey the floor, get into high percentage areas, and pick apart defenses with the pass. Defensively, he’s always talking and communicating. At his size, not going to win a lot of contested rebounds, but Bara is sticking his face into the fan and battling for every miss.
Jack Campion Jack Campion 5'10" | PG Milton | 2022 State WI – 2022 – PG – Wisconsin Playground Club
Division 2 programs should be all over Campion, praying that he feels. As of now, Minot State is the lone scholarship on the table for the Milton star. Campion had a heck of an all-around game against Young & Reckless Saturday night. The 5-foot-10 guard just tore up the defense as a scorer, facilitator, and in transition. You won’t find many players, if any, faster on the ball in the country. Campion has the ball on a string and can operate at top end speed. He’s also now a terrific 3-point shooter that can extend his range well past the 3-point arc and knocked down a couple deep ones on Saturday. A get-it-and-go guard, Campion puts a ton of pressure on the defense and is always in attack mode. He’s constantly getting downhill and either forcing help to come, in which case, he’ll find the open man, or finishing at the rim, which he can do with either hand and against bigger players.
Cael Eide Cael Eide 6'0" | PG Waukesha West | 2024 WI – 2024 – G – Closed Gyms
A skilled and crafty guard, Eide is a natural playmaker on the ball. Eide has a quick first step and just lives in high percentage areas. A quality drive and dish guard, Eide has a terrific feel for his teammates and constantly draws help defenders into the paint. The Pius XI youngster can also get his own offensively. Eide plays off the ball plenty and can space the floor as a sharpshooter. On the ball, he doesn’t settle and likes to attack. Might not look the part, but Eide is a tough guard that draws a lot of contact and gets to the foul line. There’s a noticeable ruggedness about his game that helped put Eide in the top 50 early on.
Chevalier Emery – 2022 – G – Wisconsin Playground Club
Emery has been playing some really good ball as of late. The Neenah standout came out drilled three triples right off the bench for PGC in their blowout win over Young & Reckless Saturday night. A quick-trigger guard, Emery shoots the ball at a high clip from the outside. The 5-foot-11 junior also has a good blend of power and speed on the ball. He can get by defenders with ease, take contact en route to the rim, and finish with either hand. Also a plus athlete, Emery catches people by surprise with his ability to play above the rim, not only as a finisher, but a shot blocker as well.
Jaquan Johnson Jaquan Johnson 5'10" | PG Pius XI | 2024 State WI – 2024 – PG – Wisconsin Playground Club
This is a prospect that wants all the smoke. Mac Irvin Fire came right after Johnson on Saturday and the Pius XI guard didn’t back down. Johnson just has that “it” factor. Time, score, opponent — it doesn’t matter. Johnson always has his switched turned on and he is extremely consistent when it comes to playing at a high level. Three Division 1 schools have already offered the 5-foot-9 point guard who has an innate ability to put a team on his back as a scorer and facilitator. What gives these schools confidence to pull the trigger on an undersized guard so early is that Johnson is different than most electrifying point guards that love to dribble and play 100 MPH. He’s poised and composed at all times. Johnson also has an understanding and feel for the point guard position. On top of that, he’s extremely strong for his size and generates a lot of easy buckets. We’ll see what type of college prospect Johnson develops into, but right now, you could make the argument he’s as good as any player in Wisconsin’s 2024 class not named Tayshawn Bridges Tayshawn Bridges 6'2" | CG Milwaukee Academy of Science | 2024 #86 Nation GA .
Nate Kwiecinski – 2024 – SF – Wisconsin Playground Club
Really like the package and upside of this young prospect. His two older brothers currently play Division 1 and I think Kwiecinski ends up being better. A 6-foot-5 bouncy wing that’s also a sharpshooter, Kwiecinski can get his buckets in different ways. Kwiecinski looks really good when he gets a lane to the rim. He can just got explode to the summit and is a long-strider that covers ground quickly. In the half court, he’s going to space the floor really well and provide a catch-and-shoot presence. Also shows some flashes of being a defensive playmaker — blocking/altering shots, scrapping for loose balls, etc.
Logan Rindfleisch Logan Rindfleisch 6'5" | SF Wisconsin Lutheran | 2024 State WI – 2024 – SF – Closed Gyms
If he’s anything like his brother, Rindfleisch could be a real late bloomer — although he’s a pretty good prospect early on his career already. Like his older brother, Rindfleisch has mismatch nightmare potential and likely will continue to grow up through his senior year. He’s a long, lanky wing/forward that can handle the ball and creates a ton of problems for defenders. Rindfleisch will need to continue to expand his game away from the rim, but he can shoot it a bit from outside the paint and makes defenders respect him. Rindfleisch displayed some very advanced footwork, often able to stop his momentum and pivot around people. His brother, Jonah, ended up being about 6-foot-9 and really filled out nicely by his senior year while keeping his athleticism. Could be a similar trend for Logan, who’s about 6-foot-4 with a similar intriguing frame early.
Marshawn Robinson Marshawn Robinson 6'3" | SG Waukesha South | 2022 State WI – 2022 – SG – Wisconsin Playground Club PH
Robinson led PGC PH to a win over the Archangels Saturday afternoon. The Waukesha South guard looked terrific shooting the basketball. Love the way Robinson can size his man up and rise over the top. He’s got a very dangerous killer crossover that gets defenders leaning and allows him to get into his shot. A vastly improved outside shooter, Robinson could barely shoot a lick as a freshman. Now, he’s out here knocking down contested 3’s off the dribble. Robinson is also a bouncy, explosive athlete, and a two-way player. He’s got shooting guard size, but also a point guard feel. Robinson loves creating for his teammates and plays an unselfish brand of basketball.
L.J. Wells L.J. Wells 6'5" | SF Eau Claire Memorial | 2022 State WI – 2022 – SF – Wisconsin Playmakers
Looks like this kid is about to blow up. For the second-straight day, Wells put on a show. The 6-foot-7 wing is very impressive physically and athletically. He does a great job of getting to the high post where he can rip and go. In the open floor, Wells is a runaway freight train that covers ground quickly and glides to the rim. He’s also a very good passer for his size. Needs to improve his outside shot, but I think there’s a relatively high floor for such a big upside prospect, considering the ways Wells will impact games defensively.
