Ryder Palmer — Fundamental U — SG — 2024
While Palmer is able to score well at all three levels, find open teammates, and grab boards, he didn’t earn a spot on this list because he excels in any certain skill. He earned a spot because of his scrappiness and toughness. The shooting guard isn’t afraid to attack the paint or take a charge. He always is looking to make a hustle play. The energy that Palmer plays with is contagious, and it helped his team win two games on Friday.
Josh Fridman — Fundamental U — PG — 2024
Standing at just 5-foot-7, Fridman would get passed over by many if they were drafting a team. That would be a major mistake. Because on Friday night, the point guard was his team’s most important player. He did a phenomenal job of controlling the offense and keeping his squad on schedule. In a win, Fridman managed to put up 19 points.
Daniel Robinson Daniel Robinson 6'2" | CG Waukesha South | 2023 State WI — Wisconsin Playground Club — SG — 2023
Watching the evolution in Robinson’s game has been a treat. This is clearly a kid that has been in the gym. After his team fell down 11-0 early, the shooting guard decided that he had seen enough. He quickly went on a personal 7-0 spurt to give PGC some life. Robinson is a dog on defense, and on offense, he is developing into a well-rounded scorer.
Colin Hardrick Colin Hardrick 6'3" | CG Wauwatosa West | 2022 State WI — Wisconsin Playground Club — SG — 2022
This could end up being a really big summer for Hardrick. The shooting guard is the definition of three-level scorer. He can make threes, hit pull-up jumpers, and finish contested layups. The Tosa West product recently received his first D-1 scholarship offer, and if he continues to play well, there will be many more to come.
Payton Kamin Payton Kamin 6'7" | SF Worcester Academy | 2025 State NLG — Team Ten Jabari Parker — SG — 2024
Kamin is going to be a special prospect in Illinois’ 2024 class. The Team Ten Jabari Parker shooting guard just knows how to put the ball in the hoop, specifically from behind the arc. He once scored 61 points (!) in a single game. Last night, he was only able to tally 16 points, but was very effective and efficient.
Ahmad Henderson Ahmad Henderson 5'10" | PG Brother Rice | 2023 State #291 Nation IL — Young & Reckless — PG — 2023
In Young & Reckless’ big win on Friday night, Henderson was very impressive. The point guard played really aggressive defense and did a fantastic job at getting his teammates good shots on offense. Henderson is a very good athlete who has the basketball skills to match. Keep an eye on this point guard.
