Summer isn’t over. But tournaments are winding down. A lot of action has taken place, and a lot of development has occurred.

Here are a few wings from small schools who have turned heads this summer:

Nathan Adams Nathan Adams 6'2" | SF Pratt-Skyline | 2022 State KS , 6-foot-2 forward, 2022, WKE White, Pratt-Skyline HS:

Adams has looked this summer like an elite 1A-type. He combines size, athleticism and a great stroke from deep to stand out against competition from all size of schools. He showed this summer he can catch and shoot quickly from all around the perimeter. He’s big and tough and looks like he can play shooting guard, wing, or post.

Jaden Boone Jaden Boone 6'3" | SG Quinter | 2022 State KS , 6-foot-3 forward, 2022, Team Buddy Buckets, Quinter HS (pictured):

Boone is demonstrating that a small-school guy can get it done against any level of competition. Boone is a 1A star who plays with a bunch of big-school teammates during the summer and looks good. He is powerful when he gets in the lane, and is comfortable handling the ball from end to end. He can score from the perimeter or the post.

Emmett Gaskill, 6-foot-2 forward, 2024, SSA Hoops Elite, Hugoton HS:
