Small guards were some of the best players during the Prep Hoops Exclusive in Dallas. The 16s dvision was full of small guards who led their team to wins with their play. Here are some of those small guards with big game from the Prep Hoops Exclusive live event.

Canon Edgecombe Canon Edgecombe 5'11" | PG St. Michael | 2023 State LA (6’1") / 2023 / Showtime Elite 2023

Edgecombe had himself a game against the Buddy Buckets Bahamas team with a 16 point effort.  While he got going from the charity strip (making 6 technical free throws), Edgecombe was good shooting the ball all game.  He nailed a couple of corner threes and towards the end of the game made 13 foot fade away after crossing his defender up.  Edgecombe displayed that he is more than just a guy who can spot up by knocking down shots off the dribble also.

Derrick Morris Derrick Morris 5'8" | PG St. Michael | 2023 State LA (5’8") / 2023 / Hustle Hard 2023

Morris showed his best attributes during play on Saturday.  He was that defender that hounded ballhandlers each game into turnovers either by stealing the ball himself or forcing errant passes.  His quickness on the defensive side was an attribute on the offensive
