Veston Fearon 6’2″ Richland: A 2022 wing who displayed some impressive feats of athleticism throughout the weekend. He has an active motor and he was hard to handle when he was slashing to the basket and getting out in the transition game. He didn’t going over the top and dunking on somebody, either.
Holden Souter 6’6″ Whitfield: A versatile 2024 combo forward who was a load to handle in the paint, but also displayed some nice perimeter skills, particularly his passing. Whether it was from the high post or in transition, he was dropping off some beautiful dimes to teammates. The big lefty has a nice touch in the post and a variety of moves. He can also step out and hit a perimeter shot.
Jalen Purvey 6’1″ Webster Groves: A 2023 combo guard who was strong and very active at both ends of the court. He competed hard on the defensive end, which is a staple for a player from Webster Groves. He was at his best offensively when he was getting downhill on the dribble.
Anthony Caldwell, Jr. 5’9″ Lift for Life: A 2022 point guard with good quickness and the ability to slash and get to the basket. The lefty can finish well in traffic and score well against the contact. He was also a factor on the defensive end as he has good instincts and anticipation to make a play and create a turnover. He stays in the right position.
Jonathan Neff 5’10” Staley: A 2024 point guard who looked who is a coach’s son and looked the part of it with his ball handling and high basketball IQ. He handled pressure defense well and kept things moving on offense without making a lot of mistakes. He will also make the open perimeter shot when he needs to.
