Larry Parker Iii Larry Parker Iii 6'4" | SF Staley | 2023 State MO 6’4″ Staley: The 2023 wing player has looked tremendous since coming of an injury that kept him out of much of the spring grassroots action. He is a physical, athletic player who is also a skilled ball handler and 3-point shooter. He can create off the dribble or use his strength to power to the basket. He is also an active rebounder at both ends of the floor.
Ethan Chartrand Ethan Chartrand 6'2" | SG Webster Groves | 2022 State MO 6’3″ Webster Groves: The 2022 wing player continued his excellent play from the spring with a big showing in Columbia. He showcased his athleticism with several nice takes to the basket as he scored at the rim. He complimented his assertive drive game with good perimeter shooting to keep defenses honest. His motor stays running throughout the course of the game.
Nolan Simon Nolan Simon 5'10" | PG Whitfield | 2023 State MO 5’11″ Whitfield: The 2023 point guard was in attack mode as usual as he got to the basket consistently and scored in the lane on fearless drives. He also did a nice job of finding open teammates as he distributed the ball quite well in the game I watched.
Walker Gohring Walker Gohring 6'0" | CG Fulton | 2023 State MO 5’10″ Fulton: The 2023 combo guard displayed his smooth shooting touch as he knocked down multiple 3-pointers in the game I watched. He also did a nice job in getting to the middle area and knocking down pull up jumpers. Because of his poise and court savvy doesn’t try to force the issue and he cannot be rushed.
Nelson Shinkle Nelson Shinkle 6'8" | PF Jefferson City | 2024 State MO 6’7″ Knox County: A 2024 forward who is a up and coming young big who showed me a lot of toughness in the game I saw him. He was battling a much more physical player and he adjusted well as the game went along as he got more assertive and started to take the action to his opponent. His skill set is good around the basket and he finishes well.
Jaren Schrader 6’4″ Advance: A 2022 small school forward who was very good at picking his spots when to be assertive. When he did, he knocked down a few nice mid-range jumpers and hit a 3-pointer off the catch. He plays a lot in the post for his high school team, so he was able to showcase his perimeter game a little bit during the showcase.
Micah Grawer 5’11″ Maplewood: A 2022 point guard who plays a very solid all-around game with very little mistakes. He has sneaky quickness to get to his spots on the floor and make plays, plus he had his 3-point stroke working as well. He delivered some fine passes as he kept the offense flowing when he was on the floor.
Christian Pollard 6’0″ Parkway Central: A 2022 point guard who had good quickness and the strength to make positive plays on his dribble penetration. He also put in a solid effort on the defensive end as he moved his feet and didn’t mind applying pressure on the basketball.
