Ryan Pettit Ryan Pettit 6'2" | SG Rutgers Prep | 2022 State NJ , 6’2 SG Rutgers Prep 2022
Petit does a bunch of different things for the NJ Panthers and it should be on display this weekend. The 6’2 lefty has a smooth release on his jumper and can knock down triples in bunches. Petit moves exceptionally well off the ball and the ball does not stick in his hands. He sacrifices his body by diving on the floor for loose balls and taking charges on the defensive end. Petit’s ability to do the dirty work, along with his shooting is something that will allow him to have a big weekend.
Daniel Vessey Daniel Vessey 6'3" | CG Hun | 2023 State NJ , 6’3 SG Hun 2023
Vessey had a strong spring for the NY Lightning HGSL and should continue to play well this weekend. The 6’3 guard has a clean shooting form as he waste little motion in his shot. Vessey also has a nice mid-range game and has an underrated handle. He moves well without the ball, freeing himself up for easy jumpers and layups. Vessey has the ability to get hot in a hurry from distance, which is something that could lead to a big weekend.
TJ Robinson TJ Robinson 6'3" | SG Immaculate Conception | 2024 State #163 Nation NJ , 6’2 PG Teaneck 2024
Robinson is one of the top scorers in the 2024 class and will put it on display this weekend for the NJ Legacy. The 6’2 lefty is a knockdown shooter from distance and his range starts once he crosses half court. Robinson has a lightning quick release on his shot and can shoot either off the catch or dribble. He has a nice floater and is a crafty finisher around the rim. Robinson is set for a big July and it should start with a strong weekend.
Jamarques Lawrence Jamarques Lawrence 6'2" | SG Roselle Catholic | 2022 State NJ , 6’2 SG Roselle Catholic 2022
Lawrence is one of the more slept on players in the 2022 class, but that could change this weekend. The 6’2 guard has a smooth shooting stroke and sets his feet before he shoots. Lawrence does not force many shots in the half court and has a very quick release. He can score in the mid-range and is an underrated passer. Lawrence has the potential to have a big July for the NY Jayhawks with his ability to knock down shots and it should start this weekend.
Matt Kinzler Matt Kinzler 6'7" | PF St. Peter's Prep | 2023 State NJ , 6’7 SG St. Peter’s Prep 2023
Kinzler’s stock has been going up over the past couple of months and it should continue to rise this weekend with the NJ Panthers. The 6’7 wing has a good shooting stroke and uses his size to shoot over smaller defenders. Kinzler sets his feet before he shoots and has a quick release on his jumper. He can knock down triples in bunches, but also has the ability to score in the mid-range. Kinzler recently picked up an offer from NJIT and could receive more interest with another strong weekend.
