Lincoln Supreme National 1 benefitted from Jack’s skill set greatly on Friday. He rebounded at a high level and his speed, ball-handling, and fantastic movement skills allowed him to grab and go. His team sprinted with him, and they were able to beat opponents down the floor consistently. He shot it well from the field and from the free throw line, and had a few nice assists, as well.

Quinn Johnson Quinn Johnson 6'3" | SG Loomis | 2022 State NE caught fire in Lincoln Supreme National 2’s matchup against OSA National Burt. He finished with 19 points on 7/13 from the field (4/7 3FG). The ball started popping for Supreme, and when the ball found Johnson with the defense in rotation, he did what he does best.
Parker Spann
Despite losing to Quinn Johnson Quinn Johnson 6'3" | SG Loomis | 2022 State NE and Lincoln Supreme National 2, Spann did an excellent job dictating the pace and providing steady ball-handling. His length allows him to keep aggressive defenders at bay rather easily while he scans the floor and finds cutters and shooters. That length showed up big time on the glass and in his contests on defense, finishing with 7 rebounds, 2 blocked shots, and several more that he altered.

Alec Wilkins Alec Wilkins 6'2" | SG Gretna | 2024 State NE
The best performance of the day belonged to OSA National Crouch’s Wilkins. He finished with 35 points on 15-20 shooting, and he did it in a variety of ways. He was 5-8 from three, but never settling. He attacked the rim with conviction and finished through contact. Maybe the most promising play of his happened in the midrange. He pump-faked his defender away at the three-point line, took two hard dribbles to the elbow and hit a smooth pull up jumper that was semi-contested. This was all after I pretty much tweeted he could not shoot. What do I know? He also poured in 16 rebounds, and was an active defender as he always is. Fantastic performance from the Gretna wing.
Kyler Hellbusch
Wilkins’ teammate impressed with his work in the post. He showed off his strength and balance on the glass, boxing out opponents rather easily. He repeatedly earned trips to the free throw line, and finished several tough baskets through contact. He will not blow anyone away in a straight line race, but he caught me off guard a few times with his first step when attacking an overly aggressive defender on the perimeter. He even stepped out and hit a few threes off the catch.
Jaden Jackson Jaden Jackson 6'1" | SG Bellevue West | 2024 State #312 Nation NE
Jackson is quickly becoming one of my favorite young players to watch. Ball handlers struggle to find lanes to drive on the OSA 3SSB shooting guard, even if they manage to initially beat him. He quickly gets back into the play, and can bother the ball-handler with his length even if he is behind the play. He had a complete day with blocked shots, steals, terrific spot-up shooting, and solid finishing at the rim.
