The Generals won four games in four days to win the first-ever Oregon Madness tournament and Adrian Mosley Adrian Mosley 6'2" | SF West Linn | 2023 State #269 Nation OR was a huge part of that success. Pretty much as he did all season long, the rising 6-foot-2 junior did it all for Grant, giving him a boost going into a big summer.
“It was crazy, I didn’t expect there to be rings at the end,” Mosley said. “It almost seems like the rings are heavy so it might be real gold.”
Mosley was pretty much unstoppable during the tournament, mostly by attacking the hoop, but he also stepped back and hit some threes. He stuffed the stat sheet in other categories like rebounds, assists, blocks, and steals as well. This summer he hopes to continue developing his floor leader skills.
“This off-season it was all jumpers – I had to get that right as it makes the game that much easier when you’re able to shoot outside,” Mosley said. “Not forcing everything to the hoop opens up the court. This year without seniors I had to step up more, create more shots for the team and be a better leader.”
Arizona, UCLA, Pepperdine, San Francisco, and Idaho State are some of the schools Mosley said he’s heard from and he’s staying open to all options. He opened up the AAU season playing with old friends on Dynasty Red 2023 at the Battle in Seattle in Centralia, but will be suiting up for Oregon Prospects 16U squad going forward.
“I think I’ll bring toughness to the team and I’ll be able to hype my teammates, bring some energy,” Mosley said. “I want to get more scholarships and get my name out there some more.”
Mosley currently ranks as the #3 player in the PrepHoops Oregon Class of 2023 rankings.
