Lowe dropped 18 points in the win and he drained four three’s. There was a point in the first half in which he made three three’s in the span of a minute or two and he was unfazed by tight defense. He also had some nice drives and was finishing on either side of the rim.
Mason Black – P.L.U.T.O – G
Mason Black is a great scorer at the shooting guard position and he finished with 12 points in P.L.U.T.O.’s win over Nevada Hard 2 Guard. He made some nice mid-range pull-up jumpers and he knocked down a three from the corner. He is a complete offensive guard that scores at a high rate.
Taviontae Jackson – Nevada Hard 2 Guard – G
Taviontae Jackson scored 18 points in Nevada Hard 2 Guard’s game against P.L.U.T.O. He attacked the basket well and had some acrobatic finishes in which he switched hands mid-air to avoid getting blocked. When his team’s offense became a bit stagnant in the second half, Jackson brought them back to life and started a run.
Joshua Udomouh – Tulsa Hawks – G
Sunday afternoon’s game between the Tulsa Hawks and Team Teague was the best game that I have ever seen out of Joshua Udomouh. This kid has taken his game to the next level. Udomouh finished with 20 points and made four three’s. He makes hustle plays, has the ability to finish above the rim, and distribute. The game opens up for him when going to the basket as the defense collapses and gives him the opportunity to dump the ball off to his teammates.
Leland Walker – Team Teague – G
Leland Walker put on a show for anyone watching the Team Teague and Tulsa Hawks game on Sunday afternoon. Walker scored 21 points and was unstoppable for most of the game. He played tough defense on Tulsa Hawks’ star guard Parker Friedrichsen, shot the ball well from mid-range and three-point range, and blew by defenders and finished at the rim. He showed off his smooth handle and helped keep his team in this game.
