Jaron Briggs Jaron Briggs 6'4" | CG Piper | 2022 State KS , 6’4 G, KC Spurs Black 2022: Was tremendous in both of their outings in the evening. His motor matched up with his athletic ability make him a great guard on both ends of the floor and someone teams has to watch at all times. Made a tough left handed finish to give his team a late lead in the first contest and on the following possession came from the weak side with a steal to secure the game. Had a 19 point effort in the win.
Nahcs Wahwassuck Nahcs Wahwassuck 6'5" | CG Royal Valley | 2022 State KS , 6’5 G, SSA Elite 2022 Black: Another stat stuffing performance where he impacted the game in a variety of ways, including in the biggest way, hitting an inside hand finish at the buzzer to win the game after attacking a mismatch with a big. Finished with 15 points, 5 rebounds, and 4 assists in the game.
Mikey Thomas Mikey Thomas 6'1" | SG St. Joe Lafayette | 2023 State MO , 6’1 G, 816 Hoops 2023: Technically a Missouri kid, however in the game I watched it was hard to keep him off of here. Had a big time game shooting the ball from distance against Team Teague 2023. He busted their 2/3 zone in a hurry and continued to play well when they came out of it. Finished with 18 in the game.
Aidan Kuhl Aidan Kuhl 6'0" | SG Rocky Mountain | 2022 State #245 Nation CO , 6’1, PSB Denver 2022: After torching the Nets in Dallas, he did it once again in Indianapolis. He had 23 points in the first half in their win over OWE including 6 triples. His ability to create space to get his shot off both with and without the ball is super impressive. He also plays with tremendous effort and guards well.
Elijah Knudsen Elijah Knudsen 5'10" | CG Mead | 2022 State CO , 5’10 PG, PSB Denver 2022 (Pictured): Was as solid of a point guard as I saw on the day. Handled OWE’s pressure in the full court really well, ensured his team got great shots in important possessions, and he himself also can really shoot the ball much like his backcourt mate Kuhl. He has a high basketball IQ and made a ton of great extra passes that got his guys tremendous looks from distance.
Kadyn Betts Kadyn Betts 6'7" | PF Huntington Prep | 2023 #90 Nation CO , 6’7 W, PLUTO Prospects 2023: The sky is the limit for this 6’7 wing for the PLUTO Prospects. He had a dominating 18 point performance during the game I watched. His length, athleticism, and skill with the ball allow him to attack and make plays in all sorts of ways. Him getting out in transition is scary good and he is tough to keep out of the paint.
Trevor Mcbride Trevor Mcbride 6'2" | CG Basehor Linwood | 2022 State KS , 6’2 PG, SSA Elite 2022 Black: Hit 4 threes in the win over Gain Elite including a massive three in transition to give his squad a 2 point lead with under a minute left. Also put a ton of pressure, fought through a ton of screens, and brought a ton of energy on the defensive end. Created a lot of open opportunities for his teammates with extra passes and kicking it ahead.
Howard Johnson Howard Johnson 6'0" | SG Junction City | 2022 State KS , 6’1 G, SSA Elite 2022 Black: Finished with 10 points and 6 rebounds in the win over Gain Elite, but where Johnson came up huge was in the final 2 minutes where he recorded 3 steals, and 2 of those lead to immediate scores after his team was down in the game.
