Ben Southerland Ben Southerland 6'7" | PF Cincinnati Hills Christian Academy | 2022 State #247 Nation OH 6-7 2022 Sycamore Showed the complete post package for Midwest Basketball Club. Efficient and played both within himself and the offense. But was also explosive and produced several highlight reel plays in transition. Like his entire team saw the court well and was an excellent passer. Moved well without the basketball and had a knack for getting open somewhat uncommon for a player his size.
Jordan Kynard Jordan Kynard 6'0" | PG Toledo Rogers | 2022 OH 6-0 2022 Toledo Rogers (pictured at top of article) Kynard’s Bates Fundamentals Red squad came into Friday with a five man squad. If you’re going to beat a good team like the Illinois Bears you will need steady point guard play to control the tempo of the contest. Kynard teamed with Juwan Maxey (Detroit Renaissance) to pull this task off. Kynard is a small quick twitch athlete with a tight handle. Didn’t just distribute and game manage. Finished the victory with 20 points.
Sean Craig Sean Craig 6'6" | PF Sylvania Northview | 2022 State OH 6-7 2022 Sylvania Northview While Kynard and Maxey manned the backcourt for the Bates squad. Craig matched it with a huge game in the post. The left hander had several aggressive drives to both the right and left. Good elevation and clever positioning allowed him to get shots off over larger defenders. Scored many of his points over the Bear’s 6-10 center Elliot Lowndes. Finished the contest with a team high 22 points.
Gabe Cupps Gabe Cupps 6'1" | PG Centerville | 2023 State #80 Nation OH 6-2 2023 Centerville I’ve waited a long time to catch this guard with an ever growing list of Division 1 offers. Well worth the wait. The intelligence and court sense are striking within the first few moments of viewing. Simply just doesn’t do much wrong. I was most impressed with how he was able to get shots off at the rim and in the post for a player his size. Not just a fundamental machine. Has plenty of speed and bounce to his game as well.
Tyron Barnes 5-10 2023 Springfield Did it all from the point guard position for Emerge Elite. A explosive and powerfully built athlete. Good ball handler who looked for his teammates first. But when things got tight against a good Full Package unit he took over late. Grabbed several big rebounds and played disruptive on ball defense. Finished with a team high 19 points,
