David Cobin, 5’10 PG, KC Spurs Black 2024: Before leaving the game with an injury, Cobin was controlling the game with his pace, ability to distribute the ball, and on ball defense. Hopefully he makes a full and speedy recovery because we need to see him take the reigns in the back court for his Desoto team.
Maurice Jennings Maurice Jennings 6'4" | SG Grandview | 2022 State MO , 6’4 Guard, KC Spurs Silver 2022: Long guard/wing player who can really shoot the ball and play out in transition. Much like his teammates, he moves well off the ball and gets himself open in a variety of ways. Scored it at a high level on Saturday dropping 29 in the game I watched including 4 three balls.
Bryce Johnson Bryce Johnson 6'5" | PF Lawrence | 2020 State KS , 6’ Guard, KC Spurs Silver 2022: Is a tough nosed guard who plays with a ton of energy and activity on both ends of the floor. Knocked down a perimeter jumper and got into the painted area off the bounce, in transition running the floor, and on offensive rebounds.
Sam Howery Sam Howery 6'1" | PG St. Mary’s | 2022 State CO , 6’1 G, PLUTO Prospects 2022: Talk about a performance on Saturday, the Prospects guard recorded a triple double, quite literally putting his imprint in the ball game in every aspect. He finished with 14 points, 16 assists, and 11 rebounds. It was truly a dominant game from Howery who has been turning heads all weekend.
Nahcs Wahwassuck Nahcs Wahwassuck 6'5" | CG Royal Valley | 2022 State KS , 6’5 G, SSA Elite 2022 Black (Pictured): Has been doing it all during the weekend, scoring the ball well, dishing out great looks for assists, and rebounding it at an extremely high level. Had performances of 18 points and 7 assists and 20 points and 6 rebounds in two games played Saturday.
Josh Chesney, 6’5 Wing, SABO Gold 2022: Had 38 points in a tough loss, but Chesney was dominating with his ability to score the ball. Knocked in multiple threes in transition and in the half court, lived at the foul line with his aggressiveness, and hit some tough mid range shots over contests.
