Several ranked prospects, three-point specialists, big men, high scoring guards, you name it this showcase had it, every type of recruit was there, many of them college-ready. Here we’ll take a look at a few standout three-point specialist who that had a sensational weekend.
Jackson Rankin | Texas Tar Heels 2022 Black | Flower Mound, TX | C/o 2022
Jackson Rankin easily put points on the board without ever stepping foot past the three-point line as he dropped 15 points off of 5 three-pointers on day 3 of the Exclusive. This sharpshooter displayed a great touch from the outside as he nailed long-range bombs from all-around the arc, but Rankin was most deadly from the corner, especially when left unaccounted for. Jackson Rankin is someone you can give the green light to, he has a pure stroke and a knack for finding openings beyond the perimeter.
Hudson Czarnecki | MC Elite 2022 | Melissa, TX | C/o 2022
Hudson Czarnecki is a pure knockdown spot-up jump shooter that stood out at the wings waiting for the ball to come his way so he could put another three points on the board. Czarnecki’s shot-making early-on in the game proved to be a major momentum killer for the opposing team. Hudson Czarnecki did an excellent job of reading the coverage and taking what the defense gave him without forcing his offense. When given even the smallest margin of space he let it fly in a hurry with no hesitation, and whenever the defense began to close out quicker, Hudson blew right past them and got to the basket for an easier shot. Hudson walked onto to floor hot and ready, he even had a stint at the beginning of a game where he scored 11 points in a matter of minutes, hitting 3 three-pointers on 3 straight possessions all from the wings of the floor.
Tyce Gentry Tyce Gentry 6'1" | SG Brock | 2022 State TX | Tarrant Elite | Brock, TX | C/o 2022
This 6-foot-2-inch, shooting specialist was a mad man from beyond the arc. Gentry nailed contested jumpers just as well as he did when he was left wide-open. The thing that separates Tyce Gentry Tyce Gentry 6'1" | SG Brock | 2022 State TX from other shooters on this list was his ability to consistently knock down shots with a hand in his face or a defender flying at him, showing great poise. From the perimeter, he proved to be an all-around threat, but he was on fire from the left wing, constantly finding a way to get free in that spot and his teammates knew he’d always be there. His distance was also something to marvel at, Gentry can put a shot up as soon as he crosses halfcourt, if the defense didn’t step out past the three-point line then they were trouble. Remember the name Tyce Gentry Tyce Gentry 6'1" | SG Brock | 2022 State TX , this kid has a skillset that is going to translate perfectly to the college level.
Tsvetan Satirov | Full Package 2023 | Rolling Meadows, IL | C/o 2023
Full Package’s 6-foot-5-inches three-point specialist was practically automatic off the catch. Satirov used screens to his advantage often getting open looks from three-point range at the top of the key. Anytime Tsvetan Satirov saw an opening in the corners he leaked out and constantly made the defense pay. His shooting stroke was a thing of beauty, textbook shooting form, high release, with great consistency.
Nolan Sexton | Swish Chicago 2024 | Chicago, IL | C/o 2024
Chicago’s very own came with the heat from deep, torching Texas United early-on day 1. Sexton hit so many shots from the perimeter it demoralized his opponent and created a hole too deep for them to climb out of. His jumper is quick and tough to contest, even while being one of the smallest players on the floor Sexton was not phased by bigger, longer defenders flying at him, he shot every shot the same way and continuously got the same results.
