Several ranked prospects, three-point specialists, big men, high scoring guards, you name it this showcase had it, every type of recruit was there, many of them college-ready. Here we’ll take a look at a few more standout Freshmen and Sophomores that had a sensational weekend or performance.
Jalen Brown | Shooting Guard | Texas Tar Heels 2024 | C/o 2024
This 6-foot sharpshooter always showed up whenever a three-pointer was needed the most, displaying solid shooting mechanics with a high release, a good follow-through, great balance, and nice rotation on the ball. The touch on his jumpshots was impressive as well, whether he missed or made the bucket, the shot was always right on target. Brown really excelled when creating space with his crossover and going straight into his jumpshot, but he was most deadly whenever he was stepping into his shot and shooting it with rhythm. Very smooth blew-by when attacking closeouts, once he was allowed inside the lane Jalen was a threat to finish amongst the traffic with a soft touch floater. This kid Jalen Brown showed the potential to become a true 3-and-D specialist with the way he shot it from deep and defended guys on the perimeter causing on-ball steals.
Jayden Domino Jayden Domino 6'3" | SF South Grand Prairie | 2025 TX | Small Forward | Razorbacks Elite | C/o 2025
Versatile Freshman forward, Jayden Domino Jayden Domino 6'3" | SF South Grand Prairie | 2025 TX he was all over the court making impactful plays, he chased down rebounds, contested shots out of his area, created turnovers with his length and anticipation for the play in driving and passing lanes, and he even dove on the floor for loose balls. This super high motor athlete displayed an unlimited source of energy, he never gave up on a play, and was willing to defend any player on the floor. Although he’s 6-foot-3-inches, Domino played much bigger and stronger than he looks, incredibly physical and powerful when absorbing and scoring through the contact. This kid stood out as one of the hardest working players of the weekend, Jayden Domino Jayden Domino 6'3" | SF South Grand Prairie | 2025 TX filled the stat sheet up and lead his team in scoring and rebounds on any given day.
Dillan Shaw | Shooting Guard | 1UP | C/o 2025
Dillan Shaw is an impressive young prospect with a tremendous upside. The 6-foot-2-inch shooting guard was an incredibly efficient scorer in transition with great breakaway speed. Shaw grabbed rebounds and went coast to coast in a blink of an eye with no wasted dribble or angles, he took a straight path to the basket and often went all the way there untouched. A true playmaker, Dillan Shaw came up big for his team in the most important moments of games, whether it meant making a contested three-pointer, finishing in the lane through traffic, getting to the free-throw line, grabbing a rebound, or getting a steal, he even made an unbelievable buzzer-beating, game-winning layup on day 2.
Jared Jordan | Point Guard | Texas Tar Heels 2024 | C/o 2025
Jared Jordan is your ideal guard, he has all the tools to be successful. He’s fast, unselfish, has a high basketball IQ, is very vocal, can shoot the lights out, and plays scrappy defense. This 2025 prospect was tough to contain offensively, not only did he orchestrate the offense well but Jordan also put points on the board from all three levels of the floor. His lethal floater couldn’t be stopped, Jared Jordan loved utilizing runners and floaters to quickly make shots within in the driving lanes. On the defensive end, his motor was extremely high, the Tar Heels guard showed incredibly quick-moving feet, very choppy, and fast enough to beat the opponent to their next spot. Jordan’s speed and awareness made him a terror on and off the ball due to his ability to force turnovers and get downhill in a hurry.
