Robert Salmon 6’7 F of Arsenal 17U National (Pitman HS) 2022
Salmon a long armed player, he played with good energy on the court. He’s was active around the basket trying dunk everything, and attempting to block shots, he was a good inside presence. He rebounded well, and ran the court.
Elijah Washington 6’3 PG of Cougar Elite (Edison HS) 2022
Washington is a big PG who did a good job running the teams half court offense. He plays at a slow pace at times, but his handles are good, he passes well, and sees the court. He’s strong enough to get his own shot off the dribble drive, and through contact.
John Semany 6’1 PG of Infinite 17U (De La Salle HS) 2022
A heady PG with good court sense. He’s a solid floor leader who can balance the team, and direct traffic on both ends of the court. He can find ways to get his shot off once he’s in the lane. He’s good help defender who can bait you into an offensive charge.
Thomas Labat 6’7 F of Infinite 17U (Dublin HS) 2022
Labat continues to improve his perimeter game, he hit several long range shots down the stretch in a game we saw. He’s working himself into a good inside out player. Improving his post game would add balance to his game. He’ll rebound and run the court.
LAKESHOW 17’s BLACK
Nick Medeiros 5’10 PG of Lakeshow 17’s Black (St-Patrick-St. Vincent HS) 2022
Medeiros is a fast as any PG we’ll see. He has superb ball handling, and passing skills a PG must poses. He’s a willing passer, but knows how to score, and create on his own. He has the mid-range jumper, floater, and will attack the big in the paint. A good on ball defender with quick hands.
Nolan Bessire Nolan Bessire 6'9" | PF Montgomery | 2022 State CA-N 6’9 F of Lakeshow 17’s Black (Montgomery HS) 2022
Bessire had good presence in and around the post area. He has a good size body, and was actively going after rebounds on both ends. He worked well from the from the high post passing, and attacking, and low post taking it up with strength, and balance off two feet. He ran the court. He’ll shoot his jumper if left alone.
Javon Johnson 6’4 G of Lakeshow 17’s Black (De La Salle HS) 2022
Johnson handles the ball a lot up top, he takes good care of the ball when he has it. His decision making is good, along with his passing. He has good strength to get into the paint to create shots for others and himself. He has a decent outside shot, and he’ll run the court in transition. He continues expand his game.
James Frye 6’5 W/F of Lakeshow 17’s Black (Miramonte HS) 2022
Frye’s a versatile player who can be effective outside, and contribute inside when called upon. He has decent handles to lead the transition break, attack from the perimeter, and facilitate at times. He can hit the 3pt shot when left alone, and his work in the post can get him baskets as well.
Cahal Connolly 6’9 Post of Lakeshow 17’s (Bishop O’Dowd HS)
An active big man in the post on both ends. He has good strength to bump and bang with other bigs. He has a decent set of moves to help him score inside including a jump hook, a drop step. He can hit the short jumper as well. He’ll rebound, he sets good screens for players to use, and he’s a good passer.
