Zion Sensley Zion Sensley 6'8" | SF Archbishop Riordan | 2024 State #124 Nation CA-N 6’7 SG of Oakland Soldiers 16U EYBL (Archbishop Riordan HS) 2024
Last week news broke that Sensley was ranked in the top 25 National Rankings for the Class of 2024. The 6’7 shooting guard is playing up an age with the Soldiers 16U EYBL Team. At this age he has a quality set of skills, that will only improve over time. Sensley doesn’t seem to rattle or be fazed in the moment. In the game we observed he came off the bench looking to assert himself right away. His skill set and length allows him to be the one to watch for the next couple of season.
Marcus Washington Marcus Washington 6'6" | PF Modesto Christian | 2024 State CA-N 6’6 Forward of Oakland Soldiers 15U EYBL (Valley Christian HS) 2024
Washington is a big body who will continue to raise his game from the inside out. He’s most effective working anywhere in the post area right now. The lefty has a soft touch around the basket and usually converts, yet he’s strong and can be forceful when he’s agitated. He’s an impactful rebounder, and he’ll play physical defense in the post. He’ll run the court and clean up misses.
Ainsworth Fish 6’5 Forward of NBBA 17U Gray (Redwood) 2023
A sound steady player, not a lot of flash, he wont stuff the stat sheet but he fills a nice role on his team. He’s active on the boards, he’ll play physical defense if necessary in the post, and he screens as passes well from the high post. He works well in the post with a decent jumper, and can step out on occasion for a 3pt shot.
Rishod Brown Rishod Brown 6'3" | CG Grant | 2022 State CA-N 6’4 Guard of Clutch Elite 2022 (Grant Union HS) 2022
Brown is a long wiry versatile player. At 6’4 he handles the ball often up top with this team, sometimes knifing his way through the paint for buckets, and showing good patience running the team in the half court sets. He was effective utilizing the pick and role, he showed good vision, and passing finding cutters to the basket. He’ll rebound with his length, and is capable of guarding multiple positions.
Dominic Girish 6’4 CG of Team Rampage National (Sonoma Valley HS) 2022
Girish seemed to be in the combo mode when we saw him. He did some facilitating, showing he had the patience, passing skills, and vision to find open teammates cutting or feeding the interior. He used improved handles, and some balance to finish short jumpers in the paint. He has good range and can knock down open 3’s.
