Steven Clay Steven Clay 6'5" | SG Menomonee Falls | 2022 State #193 Nation WI – 2022 – SG – Phenom University
Not a lot went right for Phenom in their loss to Pro Skills but Clay was solid while the game was still in the balance. The Menomonee Falls standout scored 13 points off the bench on 5-of-10 shooting. A plus-length, 6-foot-5 sniper, Clay has terrific shot making ability from the perimeter and mid-range. Clay also has a really tight handle and is able to shake defenders in the halfcourt. Adding some noticeable size and muscle over the last year, Clay’s ability to attack the rim, particularly in transition has improved. He had a few good finishes against strong athletes on Wednesday.
Robert Dillingham Robert Dillingham 6'2" | CG Donda Academy | 2023 #9 Nation CA-S – 2023 – G – Team CP3
Dillingham was just unstoppable in a win over Real Run. Playing limited minutes due to the lopsided score, Dillingham dropped 15 points and seven assists for Team CP3. An uptempo guard that constantly pushes the pace, Dillingham does a great job of creating early offense for CP3. Having seen Dillingham three times now, haven’t seen a team be able to keep up with his pace for 32 minutes. Dillingham is just constantly in attack mode. The get-it-and-go guard was once again relentless, getting downhill and putting a ton of pressure on the defense. He’s also an outstanding shot maker off the dribble and can knock down contested, off-balance looks. A consensus top 50 prospects in the 2023 class, Dillingham has offers from North Carolina, Texas, Kansas, Wake Forest, Florida, Tennessee, N.C. State, Pittsburgh, and others.
Nick Janowski Nick Janowski 6'3" | SG Pewaukee | 2024 State #126 Nation WI – 2024 – G – Phenom University
JL3 didn’t even know what hit them on Wednesday. Janowski just came out firing and was able to blow the game open early with a series of pull-up and step-back jumpers. What I appreciated most about Janowski’s performance, he didn’t take his foot off the gas pedal. Despite a huge lead, Janowski stayed in attack mode and finished with 19 points and four assists. Still convinced this is a top 3-4 prospect in Wisconsin’s 2024 class. Janowski has positional versatility to handle the point duties or play off the ball. The same goes for him defensively. He’s also an assassin shooting the basketball and can absolutely fill it up as a scorer.
Isaiah Johnson – 2024 – SF – Howard Pulley
Johnson had four key points late to set up the game-winning free throws for Howard Pulley against New York Lightning. A smooth, long, athletic wing, Johnson finishes very well at the rim. He’s got plenty of bounce and gets off the floor quickly, not allowing defenders to get a good contest. Johnson is pretty rim-oriented right now, but attacks the offensive glass and gets up and down the floor in transition. He’s a wing prospect with good upside if he’s able to develop a consistent jumper and score consistently in the halfcourt.
John Kinziger John Kinziger 6'0" | CG De Pere | 2023 State #257 Nation WI – 2023 – G – Phenom University
Kinziger bounced back from an off shooting performance on Tuesday and dropped 22 points during a blowout win over Bates Fundamentals. The De Pere standout looked quick and decisive on the ball, leaving defenders in the dust. A sharpshooter with plenty of speed and skill on the ball, Kinziger can shake defenders in the halfcourt and set up his jumper in other ways beyond running off screens. At 5-foot-11, Kinziger may not have prototypical size, but he’s fearless at the rim. For the second-straight day, Kinziger earned more than a handful of free throw attempts and didn’t shy away from taking some big hits at the rim. Kinziger played with a lot of passion and hustle on the defensive end of the floor. Despite giving up quite a bit of size to some of these athletes, he was making his presence felt.
Kon II Knueppel Kon II Knueppel 6'6" | SG Wisconsin Lutheran | 2024 State #15 Nation WI – 2024 – SG – Phenom University
It just looks too simple at times the way Knueppel can fill it up offensively. The freshman guard scored what felt like a really casual and easy 22 points in a win over JL3. Knueppel didn’t get off to the best start shooting the ball, but once he got rolling, it was a sight to see. Knueppel can score from all three levels and has a smooth, effortless stroke on his jumper. If a defender doesn’t close with a hand up, Knueppel’s eyes grow wide and he’ll easily shoot over the top. He’s very effective as a catch-and-shoot threat, but also gets into 12-18 foot range consistently and score with his momentum going away from the basket. Knueppel also added five rebounds and four assists in Wednesday’s win.
Milan Momcilovic Milan Momcilovic 6'8" | SF Pewaukee | 2023 State #44 Nation WI – 2023 – F – Phenom University
Momcilovic pretty much did whatever he wanted offensively during a blowout win over Bates Fundamentals. The Pewaukee star scored effectively from all three levels, scoring 17 points in limited duty. Momcilovic has a deadly fallaway game in the high post that defenders just can’t challenge. The 6-foot-8 forward also has a sweet stroke from downtown, able to score off the catch or off the bounce. The state’s top ranked prospect in 2023, Momcilovic is flying under the radar a bit nationally still, with Marquette being the lone high major offer early.
