Fletcher Loyer Fletcher Loyer 6'4" | SG Homestead | 2022 State #108 Nation IN continues hot streak
Loyer has been terrific all summer and continued his hot play on Wednesday. So far through two games, Loyer is averaging a Peach Jam high 24.5 points per game following his 22-point outing on Wednesday. He hit just one 3 after hitting five on Tuesday, but made up for it by going 9-of-11 from the line. His game continues to shine and become more and more well-rounded with his increased ability to put the ball on the floor and attack the rim. He is way more than just a standstill shooter now.
Brice Sensabaugh Brice Sensabaugh 6'6" | PF Lake Highland Prep | 2022 State #104 Nation FL continues breakout summer
The E1T1 wing has had a terrific summer and only continued his breakout on Wednesday. In a blowout win over Mac Irvin, Sensabaugh went for 27 points on 10-of-15 shooting from the field. He was terrific at getting to the rim all game long. Hit a few mid-range jumpers but most was at the rim. Great in transition, great around the rim. Very physical player on both ends of the floor and will get down and guard anyone on the other end. Often times used at the top of the full court press.
Jaylen Carey Jaylen Carey 6'8" | PF Westminster Academy | 2023 State #129 Nation FL impressive 2023 forward
The brother of NBA player Vernon Carey, Jaylen put on a show on Wednesday against Indy Heat 2023. He finished with 21 points and 16 rebounds. He got most of his work done inside the paint and used his solid frame to bully smaller defenders. He is great working over either shoulder and has good footwork to go along with it. He showed the ability to step out and hit the 3 as well. His length and size make him terrific on the glass as well. A very impressive performance from the 2023 forward.
Meanstreets off to hot start
A day after a 19-point comeback against MOKAN Elite, Meanstreets had a 34-point beatdown against Bates Fundamentals. Xavier commit Kam Craft Kam Craft 6'5" | SF TSF | 2022 State #54 Nation GA continues to have a great event, this time pouring in 23 points on 8-of-14 shooting, including four 3’s. Nick Martinelli Nick Martinelli 6'6" | SF Glenbrook South | 2022 State #235 Nation IL continued his stellar play adding 18 points on 8-of-11 shooting. AJ Casey AJ Casey 6'8" | PF Whitney Young | 2022 State #55 Nation IL and Jalen Washington Jalen Washington 6'10" | PF Gary Westside | 2022 State #32 Nation IN both had bounce back performances and looked like themselves. When they are clicking on all cylinders, Meanstreets could be a team to watch down the stretch of the event.
