Prep Hoops Missouri takes a look at what some of the state’s top underclassmen are doing during the first couple of days of competition of the Nike Elite Youth Basketball League in N. Augusta, SC.

Kyan Evans Kyan Evans 6'2" | PG Staley | 2023 State MO 6’2" MoKan Elite 16U: The 2023 point guard from Staley has been excellent so far as a floor leader, facilitator and clutch bucket getter when his team really needs a score. In an exciting overtime victory over Team Final, he had 18 points, seven rebounds and 10 assists. His high basketball IQ and competitiveness enables him to feel the big moments of the game and he responds with the appropriate play at either end of the floor.

John Bol 7’2" Brad Beal Elite 15U (pictured): The 2024 center has been an imposing figure on the back line of BBE’s defense with his length and shot blocking ability. In a victory over Drive Nation on Friday, he had eight points, 17 rebounds and eight blocks in a dominating performance. He’s very nimble around the basket and he runs the court very well. He has also improved offensively as he can catch well on the move and finish with a soft touch on
