Mason Strong Mason Strong 5'11" | PG Omaha North | 2022 State NE (2022) | 5’11 G | Lincoln Supreme 17u National 1 |
Strong had a very strong showing against MN Comets Belka. The 2022 guard was getting it done both offensively and defensively. Strong accounted for 11 points but did it in a variety of ways. With his tight handle he was able to break defenders off and get to the basket easily. He was strong at the rim and could also find the open man. Strong also has a very pure stroke from deep which makes him even more of an offensive threat. His active hands on defense helped Supreme break open the game in the 2nd half with a couple of timely steals.
Brady Christiansen Brady Christiansen 6'6" | PF Lincoln Pius | 2022 State NE (2022) | 6’6 F | Lincoln Supreme 17u National 1 |
The 2022 forward did not miss in his game against MN Comets Belka. Leading the way with 22 points he proved to be a pure stretch four. He is an ideal three level scorer. Christiansen’s three point shot was automatic. With his big 6’6 frame he was able to attack easily and finish really well at the rim on top of that.
Peyton Belka Peyton Belka 6'1" | PG Rogers | 2022 State MN (2022) | 5’11 G | MN Comets Belka |
Belka was one of my favorites to watch this weekend. The guard from Minnesota had a mean right to left crossover that created him some space every time. He is a very shifty point guard who will draw help side defenders in to hit his man for the open jumper. Belka also has a very pure shot from deep. I was very impressed with how under control he shot whether he was wide open or contested.
Kam Bevel (2021) | 6’1 G | Zoski Elite |
The guard from Missouri is an absolute offensive threat. Kam has a very quick step to go along with his tight handles making him a problem for defenses. He can get to the rim very easily with some nice touch around the rim. He also has extended range from deep. Kam is not afraid to pull from beyond the three point line either. His range is extended proving he can play the one or the two.
Trey Lewis (2022) | 5’10 G | Pure Prep |
Trey is what you call a pure point guard. He has excellent court vision and finds open teammates in transitions or in the half court set. For his size he is not afraid to go up with a big in the paint. Trey had the ball on a string against a very scrappy Victory Ministries team but handled the pressure well. To go along with his ball handling and finishing abilities he had a really nice jumper from beyond the arc.
