Caleb Hannah — EBA Ice — SF
Hannah is an intriguing prospect that seems to get better each time he laces up his sneakers. After an impressive showing a couple of weeks ago, the small forward had another great performance on Friday. The small forward is able to make shots from the outside and use his length to finish layups in the lane. College coaches need to keep an eye on Hannah.
Emmett Lawton Emmett Lawton 6'2" | SG Notre Dame Academy | 2023 State WI — Team 1848 — SG
I thought that Lawton did a lot to raise his stock on Friday night. In a blowout win for his team, the shooting guard dropped 18 points and displayed his well-rounded scoring game. I also thought that Lawton showed promise on defense, as he made some big hustle plays. Look for the SG to continue to turn heads the rest of this summer.
Seth Miron Seth Miron 6'4" | SF Kimberly | 2023 State WI — Team 1848 — SF
I really like Miron’s overall game. He can shoot it well from deep, finish inside the paint, and play tough defense. If he chooses to play basketball in college, there will no doubt be a school willing to give him a roster spot. This upcoming high school season, expect Miron to be a major contributor for Kimberly in the Fox Valley Association.
Trey Smith Trey Smith 6'7" | SF Osseo | 2023 State MN — MN Bounce — SF
Smith is an athletic prospect that plays really good defense and is capable of highlight-worthy plays on offense. He is still a bit rough around the edges, but if he continues to round out his game, the small forward will no doubt catch the eye of some top college programs. Smith scored ten points for MN Bounce in a big win.
Will Starks Will Starks 6'4" | SF Kenosha Tremper | 2023 State WI — World Hoops Elite — SF
I think that Starks has superstar potential in Wisconsin’s 2023 class. The athletic small forward is such a good slasher. When he makes up his mind and attacks the rim, there are not many defenders that will be able to slow him down. On defense, I thought that Starks played with great energy. The World Hoops Elite star dropped 19 points in a close loss on Friday night.
Josiah Butler Josiah Butler 6'3" | CG Fox Valley Lutheran | 2022 State WI — Wisconsin Crusaders — SG
I still don’t think that Butler gets enough credit for how great he is. As a true three-level scorer, the shooting guard out of Fox Valley Lutheran is a versatile player that can always get off a good look. If he continues to play at a high level, I expect college programs to start handing him roster spots. Butler tallied 23 points for his team in an opening night victory.
