Justin Goolsby Justin Goolsby 6'4" | SF Battle | 2023 State MO 6’4″ Battle: A 2023 forward who has an excellent combination of physical strength and athleticism in the low post. He overpowered bigger defenders inside with strong moves around the basket and offensive rebounders. He also can use his quick feet to score on drives to the basket while also running the court for transition buckets. He’s a walking double-double.
Lee Verslues Lee Verslues 6'0" | PG Fatima | 2022 State MO 5’10″ Fatima: An excellent 2022 point guard who really plays with good pace and puts pressure on the defense. If he doesn’t get all the way to the basket, he is capable of stopping to hit the mid-range jumper or he will drop it off to an open teammate. He has good ball toughness and deals with pressure defense very well.
Austin Brown 6’4″ Macks Creek: A small school 2022 forward who played a strong inside game. He was mobile and very active on the boards at both ends. He scored well with both his right and left hand as he made several good cuts off the ball to get himself open.
CJ Lang 6’0″ Webster Groves: A 2023 guard who can excel at the point guard of play off the ball with equal effectiveness. He handles the ball and can change speeds and directions well to shake off defenders. The perimeter jumper is also solid. He is also a stout defender with quick hands and good feet to be disruptive.
Ken’Veon Stone 6’1″ Staley: A physically built guard who checks in at a robust 205 pounds and know how to use it to his advantage as he scored on many power drives to the basket. If he didn’t score, he was getting fouled and he made a high percentage of his free throws. He was just as assertive on the defensive end as he was on the offensive end. He has a bright future ahead of him.
Ryder Williams Ryder Williams 6'3" | SG Versailles | 2024 State MO 5’11″ Versailles: A 2024 guard who is an excellent shooter from 3-point range. The lefty was very confident in his stroke as he sometimes let it fly from well beyond the 3-point line. He did a good job of getting to the open spots and making himself available.
Brett Hall 5’10” Willard: A 2022 point guard who played with good savvy and poise with the ball. He had solid handles and very good court vision as he dropped some nice dimes. He had a nice hesitation move to get by defenders on the way to the basket. He was also a solid perimeter shooter.
