Kason Mauzey Kason Mauzey 6'5" | PF St. Joe Benton | 2022 State MO 6’6″ St. Joe Benton: A talented combo forward with the skill set to excel in the low post or on the perimeter. He displayed some nice moves around the basket and he had a shooting touch to match, including his turnaround jumper. He could also throw down dunks inside with authority. He can also handle the ball and be a playmaker. He’s very confident with the ball in his hands and good things usually happened.
Grant Erisman Grant Erisman 6'5" | SF Centralia | 2022 State MO 6’4″ Centralia: An athletic 2022 combo forward who impressed me with his mobility and fluid movement on the court. He runs the court easily with his long strides that cover a lot of ground. It led to a lot of transition baskets during the day. He’s also skilled around the basket and he can put the ball on the floor and make a play.
Brayden Ott 5’9″ Harrisburg: A talented 2023 point guard from Harrisburg who has very good offensive skills with the ball in his hands or playing off the ball. He excelled in pick-and-roll situations where he could shoot the 3-pointer if the defender when underneath the screen or he could get into the lane and score on a tough drive. He’s a very assertive player who can take charge.
Darrien Brown 5’10″ Lincoln Prep: A 2024 point guard with good quickness to go along with his good skill level. He was very good on the dribble penetration and he used the backboard well to finish in the lane. He has speed but he was always under control. He can also hit the 3-pointer as well.
Peyton McFrederick 6’1″ Hume: A stout 2022 forward who is undersized inside in terms of his height, but he made up for it with his big body and physical style of play. He is a blue-collar player who loved to bang around inside and chase down every rebound that he could.
Marko Tomicic 6’0″ Mehlville: A 2024 guard who played a very solid game in the time I watched him. He did a nice job of blending in without trying to force things too much. He’s a solid lefty who finished well on drives and hand a very effective mid-range jumper. He did a nice job of taking advantage of his opportunities.
